(It's not super amazing, but it's not horrible either. It's right in the middle for me.)

EDIT: Okay, looking back at the other comments, I realize one thing: Antis are really furious.

- Twilight fans' respostas (like "good" and "amazing"): Antis come out and say "You're wrong. They suck."

- Antis' respostas (like "crap," shit," and "suck"): Antis also comment to say, "Oh, my God. That's so funny and so true."

Really, people? You won't let Twilight fãs defend their opinions, but you can say that what they amor is "shit" and then laugh about it? I seriously hate this spot sometimes.

Okay, VampiresRevenge - I totally agree with you about some antis not respecting Twifans' opinions. I know that I am prone to doing the same, but I do my best to respect the opinions of all. I practically live por the Voltaire quote: "I may not agree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it." If ever I get into a debate with a Twilighter, I try to attack the POINTS that they bring up and avoid attacking their opinions.

To the extent of my knowledge, Edward does not live in a grave, he does not attack at night, instead in broad daylight (which would cause death with the traditional vampire). The basic similarities between Meyer-vampires and traditional vampiros is that they both drink blood and is dead.

Erm...I'll only give you a few examples, because one could write an artigo on this (and I'm pretty sure it's been done already). Example 1: All Bella seems to do is cook, clean and be with Edward. She cooks for her father while he sits on the couch, drinking and watching the footy. This is utterly anti-feminist. It spreads the message that woman is there to wait on and serve man. This is an ideal that women have fought against for decades...and Stephenie Meyer has decided to undo this hard work por publishing her overglorified fanfiction that was inspired por a wet dream. Example 2: Esme has absolutely no role in the books other than to clean the Cullen house - given that they're all vampires, she wouldn't have to cook. Example 3: Bella is completely useless without a man in her life. She only ever thinks of Edward, not paying any attention to her friends or family. When Edward leaves her, she goes into a depressed and practically catatonic state. Now, I may not have been through a break-up, but I have lost several close relatives and so I know how it feels to lose a loved one. I can guess that most people would have moved on from their loss after about a mês or two - Bella only starts to feel better after a completely unrealistic period of four months, and she only really begins recovering when Jacob begins to pay attention to her. This constant need for a man in her life is extremely anti-feministic. Again, it is promoting the message that women are useless without men in their lives. I personally believe that this is utterly untrue - the saying "Behind every great man is a great woman" really summarises my feelings. So...there's three reasons as to why Twilight is "anti-woman", and there's one explanation for my strong dislike of the Twilight Series.

Also, Rosalie and Esme both desperately wanted babies, just like all women are "supposed" to, and Alice, who didn't, just wanted to comprar and give makeovers 24/7. Also, Esme has no friends, no job, no hobbies, etc. I mean, I'm fine with the whole stay at início mum/housewife role, it's not anti-feminist to have characters like that. Molly Weasley is quite a feminist. Yes, she's a stay at início mum, but she was running around and cleaning up after 7 small children, but we can see she has a life outside that. She has hobbies such as knitting, crocheting and cooking, and while that might seem anti-feminist because it's "steroetypical" but we can see she's very passionate about these things, rather than doing them just because she feels she has to. Oh, and she was a member of the Order, and managed to kill Bellatrix Lestrange, probably the most skilled Death Eater. When it comes to housewives, Molly makes them look kick-ass, strong and independent, Esme just makes them look weak, boring, and purposeless.
