Marvel\'s Guardians of the Galaxy Becomes the Top Grossing Movie of the Summer

Star-Lord & crew topped the box office once more this weekend!

After breaking into record books with its $94.3 million opening weekend, Marvel\'s "Guardians of the Galaxy" has now become the top grossing movie of the summer domestically, topping the box office once again in its fourth week of release! The film earned another 17.3 million, for a total of $251.5 million domestically.

"Guardians of the Galaxy" has also taken in an additional $237.6 million internationally, bringing its worldwide total to $489.1 million.

Marvel\'s Guardians of the Galaxy, which first appeared in comic books in MARVEL SUPER-HEROES #18 (Jan. 1969), stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, featuring Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Nova Prime Rael and Benicio del Toro as The Collector.

James Gunn is the director of the film with Kevin Feige producing, and Louis D\'Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Jeremy Latcham, Alan Fine and Stan Lee serve as executive producers. The film is written by James Gunn and Nicole Perlman. Marvel\'s "Guardians of the Galaxy" is in theaters now.

In addition to "Guardians of the Galaxy," Marvel Studios will release a slate of films based on the Marvel characters including "Avengers: Age of Ultron" on May 1, 2015; "Ant-Man" on July 17, 2015; and the untitled "Captain America 3" on May 6, 2016.

The CD contains a song, "Spirit in the Sky" and has a comment it was not in the movie.  Was this from a deleted scene or added in as a bonus?

Seen it twice already and I\'m waiting for the home videos to be release so I can watch it over and over again.  I like Winter soldier and I like this more

It was a awsome movie ,great cast ,well Written and directed,non stop action,awsome VILLAIN ronan the accuser, also was a member of the Kree planet and creAted the INHUMAN ,hopefully marvel next projecT ,hopefUlly well written and directed and a awSome cast and release without anY HESITATION,go marvel you did it again,looking FOREWORD for the 2015 marvel movies,hint gOrge lucas fOr INHUMAN ,maybe ?

Guardians of the Galaxy is so freaking awesome! It is one of the best movies! But I like all of the Marvel movies equally! Go Marvel!
