but I feel really bad for Callie!
I've recently bought the segundo series on dvd, because, as I live in England, we're ridiculously behind, and the relationship that stands out for me is Callie/George.
I know a lot of people are all for the Gizzie relationship, but it is debatable whether Izzie and George were actually in love, or whether it was a spur of the moment "we had sex so we need to fall in love" kind-of-thing.
I think the quote that really made me amor this couple, correct me if I'm wrong, was from "The Name of the Game" when Callie says that he makes her world stop. And Izzie sums it all up: "Oh my god, George is her McDreamy!"
Every self-respecting Grey's Anatomy fã knows what is meant por her saying this; He's the guy who will ultimately mess up your life, but you'll still amor him for it. George couldn't amor her. It was too soon after his Meredith incident. Then the seguinte act of amor was when his father died. Both came after a dark period in George's life.
I think the first episode of season 3 showed how much Callie cared about George, when she arrives at his house with comida for Izzie, because she knows how much George loves Izzie, and wants to help. She then talks about how she has to come over and cook for his friends just to be noticed.
Something else I noticed was that on various occasions when Callie has told George she loves him, his reply has been less than romantic.
I could go on, but I think you all see my point:).
