Yes, they should DEFINITELY do at least a short movie to tie up the loose ends. Have just finished watching season 7 and CANNOT BELIEVE the show was cancelled. The storylines were far from drying up, as can often happen with sitcoms towards the end of their run. I enjoyed this programme mais than I have enjoyed any other. GG's maintained its humour, charm, warmth and romance right till the end and, although it was an emotional ending, it did not go far enough to satisfy the fans, as far as I'm concerned. Really feel short-changed that there was no Lorelei/Luke wedding, or even a romantic proposal from Luke (as a poignant moment in a anterior episode was when he said that he would get his chance, to propose). The whole show centered (apart from mother/daughter relationship) around the highly charged tension in the Lorelei/Luke relationship. Finally, and in the last few minutes, it looked like they were definitely together...the show then ends. How sick is that? PLEASE bring it back, even just one episode/short movie would be enough. Heard rumours that Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel did not want to continue and the rest of the cast did. Please do it!! You're both absolutely brilliant and the show could not obviously continue without you. There was not one character I did not like. Scott Cohen was my ideal man before I even discovered GG's and now Scott Patterson is definitely up there too. Let him get Lorelei down the aisle, in that gorgeous dress she'll still have hanging in her closet!
