Is Gerard Way an atheist?

This pergunta is bugging me... I would have think if he's an atheist or not because of um... The way he speaks, or dress and everything else. Please, I need an answer for this question. A good answer, not some "joking around". Okay?

As a huge fã of MCR and of Gee, I asked myself this pergunta alot. I did some research and eventually made it to a live chat with Gee and his brother Mikey on Stickam. I asked him a few perguntas and after about five or so I asked, "what's your view on god?" (as a Christian myself, I was curious). He said "I used to be an Atheist growing up, but as an adult I have a firm belief."
