VERY hard question...but currently I just seem to love his solo songs much more. He seemed like a happier person too, having much more freedom than when he was with the Beatles.

he didn't really get much attention in the beatles. don't get me wrong, he got his fair share, but not as much as john or paul. And I LOVE his solo songs, so i think he did better on his own.

All the Beatles, in my opinion, were better off with the Beatles. It just felt more whole.
