Yep, in 2005 Canada, that's where I live, became the fourth country to legalize gay marriage. That's what it says in wikipedia. Which I think is a good thing. Gay marriage should be legal everywhere.

( England and wales ) scotland and northern ireland ( the other countries that make up the uk) have not made it legal yet, scotland have had the legislation introduced to parliament but have not responded to it yet and northern ireland has said that it has no plans to introduce it, they do however recognize civil partnerships.

Well,YES & NO actually! I'm from Ulster,UK,yet a gay marriage is still legally NOT allowed here in Ulster.We can only become life partners in a civil ceremony.However,in the rest of UK gay marriage IS allowed so if we want to get married we go to England.
