It's kind of hard to explain, but I think it's that feeling of seeing them die, it just makes my feelings for the characters stronger! Because of how tragic a lot the deaths are and also because I feel sorry for them.

It can happen also with characters I was neutral or 1 step from disliking them + they die & im like 'That was sad.' There is definitely something with deaths.
