I feel like it is time that I tell you how much you all mean to me and how fanpop has changed my life. About a ano atrás I became a stay-at-home mom. Which was really a blessing, however a huge stressor in my life was the fact that I had essentially no adult interaction during the dia and no way of really feeling validated. I found fanpop one dia while browsing for Office episodes online. I saw the picks and it looked so fun, that I just had to join! Since then I have spent hours everyday on Fanpop. It is my outlet for all the stresses of being a young mother who is nearly solely responsible...

The internet is losing the magical veil of interest it once held over you. You've been on all the really popular sites you already know about and have eventually grown board of them. Sure you type into your blog every now and then, but that's not enough to keep you online for mais than ten minutes. After a while, you figure you might as well look for that episode of The Office you failed to record, and therefore missed last week.

You type the título of the episode into google and browse through the first couple links that pop up. All of them are broken videos, or they have very poor quality...

This is merely an addition to Papa's fantastic soapbox artigo on link (a must-read) but some users have still been asking about editing a pick that they've made after they have published it. Here's a very basic how-to.


1. How the Pick's Creator can editar the pick:
If you want to add additonal choices to your options or imagens to them, all you need to do is look for and click on the pencil ícone on the topo, início of your pick. This will take you back to the pick creation page where you can freely add new options and image to your heart's desire.



2. How Voters can editar the pick:

G'day awesome Fanpoppers!
I think this piece is really too short to be considered a proper artigo but I just wanted to give a *high five* to the newly introduced feature, Fanpop's Instant Messaging.
I became aware of this new feature less than 24 hours ago, I'm sure por now most of you guys also have it.
At first, I thought this was just a way of letting users know which other users were online at the same time. But no,it is far mais awesome.
It's instant messaging between you and your fanpop friends.
I amor this already so much. I think I've spoken to about 30 or so different users/friends in...

Lately there's been a lot said and written in the way of articles,picks,etc about the so-called deterioration of the fanpop site. This is not another heavy-handed artigo about user conduct or inappropriate behaviour. I do not happen to believe that flogging the same issues over and over again actually benefits the site or the fanpoppers. So all I've done is put together, in a light-hearted way, what I refer to as the '10 commandments' of Fanpop. Unlike the image, these commandments (tips) are not set in stone,lol, but I think they can be useful in helping one be a better Fanpopper.

50% of fanpoppers that took my pick 'Do you like the black background of fanpops homepage?' picked no.

I'm one of the fanpoppers that picked yes and i'll explain why.

The old background was okay, but its main as cores were blue and green; two as cores that don't go together. But the black background doesn't have any as cores that do not match.

The black background is easier on the eye, mais stylish and makes you feel mais relaxed. The old background seems mais tacky.

I'm sure that homepage will change back to its old blue and green theme as fanpoppers think the black background is 'against the spirit...

Please. NO. Don't. With fanpop at it's definite high with the (VERY) recent creation of it's own Wikipedia artigo and it's change from beta to complete, I have decided that it is time to write about my own opinion of the site. Please read through and I hope you will all appreciate my review.

I'm not going to say that there's only one word to describe Fanpop. Because it's a website that dedicates itself to all types of things and people that can differentiate in many ways. And that's part of the greatness of it all. No matter who you are and what you love, it's impossible to not be able to talk about things...

I've decided to cadastrar-se the crowd and do a review of the newly un-betad fanpop. I first joined fanpop while searching for free episodes of House M.D. I noticed a pick and wanted to put in my two cents. Hence, my life was changed.

It took me a while to get really active. But soon enough I was recognizing usernames and posting content.

This site is great because it is so simple yet so complex. You like something? Become a fã of the spot. Spot not there? Make one!

Another awesome thing is that fanpop really breaks away from the MyFace universe. You can get personal with other fans, but it's much easier...

Just a few helpful guidelines for new & old users that will help keep fanpop fantastic:

1. Upload a perfil image. Find an image of you or of something that represents you and upload it as your user icon. This should be especially easy now that there are perfectly-sized ícones (100x100) in almost every spot there for you to use. Otherwise you are just another green face in the crowd!

2. Rate vídeos and links. It's quick & easy, those who add vídeos and links will appreciate your honest opinions/ratings, and it is yet another way for you to leave your mark on Fanpop!

3. Proofread picks....
