If you editar your artigo will it erase the number of people who are fãs of it?

I posted this one artigo for this one club and I noticed someone fanned it a short time later. But when I noticed I spelled a word wrong and went back to editar it, and then I published it again that the number of people who pressed the "I'm a fan" button was blank. I want to editar it again but it now has mais people who have fanned it. So was the last one just a glitch or something or does it really erase the number of fãs when you editar it?
