What means that an user was "BANNED"? And how can someone be banned???

Those user that when u go to their profiles, u can't see them, u go to the fanpop início site. Everybody says that they were "banned" but what exactly means that???
Can someone explain me that, please?

That means that they were naughty in some way, so they are no longer allowed to have their fanpop account. For example, they may have been abusive towards other people, posted offensive content, posted spam etc etc.

Of course. People denunciar people and fanpop staff check it out and ban the reported person if appropriate. Normal fanpop users can't ban someone, but they can denunciar them which could lead to the person getting banned.
