I’m not really good at composição literária soapboxes. My comments are usually just one or two sentences that are goofy in nature and serve no mais purpose than to try to bring about a chuckle.
However, in early May, I posted a video known as link. It was a video response to Asia Society’s link Asia Society had a contest in which they wanted viewers to share their stories and experiences. The person whose video that was posted from May 1 through May 31 with the most views would win an iPod Nano. The video I posted, was a quick minuto and a half response that I formulated and recorded in fifteen minutes. I posted it and put it up on the link. I had no intention of doing anything other than to drop some knowledge. A short while later, link posted it on the link.
The response was immediate and tremendous. The comments that the fanpoppers left were supportive and generous. Some even commented on the youtube page itself. link comment really cracked me up.
It was this past Saturday morning when I was surfing while sipping some morning coffee when I noticed a message in my youtube inbox. It came from Asia Society saying that I won! Wow! I was floored because I really enjoyed watching everyone else’s video responses.
The iPod arrived this afternoon. I haven’t even had time to take it out of the box yet. My first thought was to take a fotografia and thank everyone on here who watched the video to support me. Asians might have rocked during Asian Pacific American Heritage month, but it goes without saying that fanpoppers rock every month. I amor you all!
