I fought through the process,
And I was determined through it all.
I was Valente and strong
And now I survived.

At first I was worried to death,
When the doctor said that I had cancer.
I stayed strong
Cuz I knew that my family and friends
Would care for me,
And spread the word
So I would survive.

My friends and I
Were always supportive of me,
And we could talk for hours,
Playing on our DSes,
Talking about Legos
Like great friends ever should.

Later, I was cancer-free
And I celebrated
We did everything great
It helped me cheer up.

I found out
That many people have cancer
Not only me..
And I'm now determined
To end this...

i want to thank you for joining the evan gary club. although there were only 47 people apart of this club, thats 47 mais prayers, 47 mais hopes, and 47 mais pieces to the gary family.

This was originally written por his mom.

Evan received his third dose of Marqibo on Friday and continues to do well, clinically. He has experienced mais of the side effects this time (i.e. numbness in fingers, constipation, etc.), but nothing too problematic.

Being on chelation therapy has helped to reduce his iron and improve his coração function. However, his ALT has not reduced as much being on it this time as it did before. This is the one liver function test...

This is originally written por his mom for his website:

Evan has had a good week and continued to fare well after his first Marqibo treatment. His blood counts have continued to recover (i.e. platelets are 36 and hemoglobin is 10.1 today) and his leukemia cells (circulating blasts) have gone down to 1% (from 20% since I last posted). He received his segundo dose of Marqibo today and should be able to get the seguinte one this coming Friday. Four doses will make up one complete cycle.

We are not sure when they will repeat a bone marrow aspiration, but we pray for the healing that we know the Lord Jesus...

Evan Gary is a 14 ano old boy who has an amazing imagination. He is a normal boy, he likes legos, hexbugs, playing with his younger brothers, simon and jonathan, and playing on his ds. There's only one thing: he has leukemia.
In mid-2010, he was having jantar with his family. His mom, Carol, His dad, Grant, and his 2 little brothers. As he was putting away his dishes, his face grew white and he collapsed. He was rushed to the hospital, only to let his parents find he has cancer.

When they told him, Evan was a little scared, but he knew his family and friends would help him. I went and visited...
