Okay, so did you know that Mabel is based off of Alex Hirsch's twin, Ariel Hirsch, and that Dipper is based off of Alex? I swear I didn't name Arielle after Ariel, that was a mere coincidence. Anyway, the usual, I pardo, dun own Gravity Falls, and I don't own ONE DIRECTIIIOOOON either, okay? XD There.

Chappie Four
Arrival
The airport was congested. You couldn't take a step in any direction without colliding into someone. Their flight was supposed to leave at 2:00 PM. It was 1:30 PM, and Terminal 3 was upstairs. But Joe, Arielle, and Alyssa had just entered the airport, and the moment they crashed into an elderly couple (who nudged them back purposely as they exited), they knew things weren't going to go as smoothly as they expected.
It took a lot of pushing and shoving to actually get through the baggage checks...and up the stairs.
"OH MY GOD!!!" Alyssa shrieked. "OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD, OH MY GOOOOODDD!!!!!!"
    "What?!" Arielle asked, obviously amused.
"Ari, they have a gift shop...WITH ONE DIRECTION MERCHANDISE!" Alyssa sped off like a bullet nearing the comprar (of course, screaming at people to get out of her way), but Joe managed to chase after her, even through such a broad crowd.
"Stay away from that....band," Joe ordered Alyssa, diverting her attention from the shop. "Do you want to have a major freak-out on the plane ride?"
"If it gets me my One Direction, then yeeeesss!!!" Alyssa, who was being held back por Joe's hand, was ferociously attempting to get it out of the way.
"You're not getting One Direction, and mom told you that!" Joe pushed her stomach back farther. "It's not going to happen, so give it up."
"Your flight is going to leave in ten minutes! Stop dilly-dallying," Mr. Maher scolded. "We're going to our terminal, and Alyssa, stop complaining."
What were the chances they'd make it through the large amount of people stretched ahead of them?...Slim to none, that was it.
"If you're planning to stand here to get out of this, you will get in even mais trouble," Arielle's mother threatened; it was true that she almost knew what everyone thought. Just por taking a quick glance at one's facial expression, she could summarize what they were thinking. It was mais than creepy, and Arielle couldn't find a word to describe it. Since her mom did it all of the time at home, Arielle was used to it, but she wasn't sure about other people. They'd certainly speed-walk away. Returning to the original topic, yes, Arielle's mother could tell what the children were up to...and Arielle's friends were used to it as well.
Everyone was starting to gravitate toward either side of the room. Just like that, the floor in front of them was completely open. And they could spot their terminal.
"It's time for our doom," Arielle predicted quietly so their parents couldn't hear. "By the time we come home, we're going to crying our eyes out, crawling, CRAWLING for the computer...and for a pizza place."
"Maybe Gravity Falls has good pizza," Joe said
"Naah, we all know no pizza can topo, início New York pizza...well...I don't knoow!"
"Hahaha, and I'm the blond one!" Alyssa burst out laughing.
"Oh shut up," Arielle grumbled, trudging. Stalling seemed to be the answer for a lot of things lately...
Everything seemed to blur together, the seguinte few minutes: Mrs. Maher speaking to the male at the desk, the kids' feet thumping on the rug in the narrow hallway, and finding an empty assento on the plane. Joe sat in the assento por the tiny window, and Arielle immediately took the middle seat, knowing that she might as well keep the siblings apart so no horrible arguments ensued.
It was only a matter of time before the plane was up in the air, and Joe was drawing on his DSi XL. Occasionally, Arielle literally peeked over his shoulder to see what kind of animation he was making up. She snickered when he saw that it was an animation of a boy getting attacked por a cat. A fellow passenger shot her a stare of evil.
Meanwhile, Alyssa was wiping tears from her cheeks with the napkins she'd requested from the flight attendant. She just couldn't stop crying, thinking about everything she'd lost.
Arielle sighed. Honestly, she was bored. And the only option she had was to read a book, or go to sleep. Arielle was leaning towards the latter. So she closed her eyes, covered her lap with a blanket, and tried to shift into the most comfortable position possible (which wasn't very comfortable). If only she had brought ear plugs with her. A majority of the passengers were in full-fledged conversations, and there was no way she could tell them to shut up. Sure, she was spunky, maybe a little spark of tomboy-ish-ness in her, but she wasn't mean.
Finally she was sleeping soundly, with Alyssa still quietly crying, and Joe still on his DSi.
Alyssa felt a light poke in the back. She twisted her head to the assento behind her. A girl about her age was looking at her. She had black hair up in a ponytail, dark brown eyes, and a slightly tanned complexion. Her clothes consisted of a golden sundress, vestido de verão and sandals to match. Her expression was concerened. "What's the matter?" she asked Alyssa.
"I lost everything I ever loved," Alyssa answered, her crying finally ceasing.
    "Liiike...?" the girl prompted.
"Um...my best friend, Genna...well, at least for the summer...umm...ONE DIRECTION! I lost my One Direction!"
The girl stared in utter shock. "Wha-...what do you mean?!"
"I mean, my mom took away my CDs and all my posters and bonecas and everything and I have no One Direction!" It took everything Alyssa had to not cry again.
"Oh...my...GOD! YOU lost ONE DIRECTION?!" And now this girl looked like she was about to cry like a little baby. "OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD!"
"Shut up," the older boy sitting seguinte to her ordered. Alyssa figured he was her older brother. And she was also sure that he had a burning hatred of One Direction.
"Oh my god..." The girl reached into the pocket of Alyssa's seat. The seguinte thing Alyssa knew, the girl had placed two albums into Alyssa's hand.
Alyssa took one good look at what the girl had just handed her, and she almost dropped them...
"On-One Direction?" Alyssa gasped. "I amor YOU!!!!"
"Hey, One Direction fãs are always there for each other!" the girl stated. "It's a fact. And besides, I have two extras in my suitcase."
"Thank you," Alyssa told her, before screaming in delight about her new prizes. And that woke Arielle up.
"Alyssa, shut up," Arielle snapped. She could sure tell her friends to be quiet. After all, she did know them.
Alyssa shoved the albums into Arielle's face. "LOOK AT THIS! LOOK! AT! THIS! NEW ONE DIRECTION CDS!!!! YEEEEEEES!"
"I'll call Mom and Dad if you don't close your mouth right now," Joe threatened without emotion in his voice.
Alyssa did exactly that without hesitation. But a tiny squeal came out of her mouth, and she hugged the albums to her as if they were her babies.
"I'm going back to sleep," Arielle announced. "Good night."
"But it's not night," Alyssa said.
"I don't care!" Arielle was back asleep in about thirty seconds.
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^
Arielle woke up with a start. It took her a few minutos for her to realize the plane was no longer in flight, and that she was in Oregon. And it was the first dia of summer. And she was going to be spending it in a lazy hotel in a lame town. She hadn't exactly looked up what it looked like (Arielle sure didn't want to be brought down even mais than she was), but she knew it was going to be horrible. Parents wouldn't send you to a town that was...well...alive, if you got into some seriously hot water.
"Everyone's off the plane except us, Ari. We gotta get off," Alyssa urged her.
"I'm awake!" Arielle slapped Alyssa's hand from her tiredly, yet jokingly. Alyssa didn't take any offense as Arielle and Joe stood up straight.
The airport wasn't crowded - in fact, there were only about ten or twenty people there. Yes, Gravity Falls was going to be...a nightmare.
Alyssa almost missed her suitcase when the trio was collecting their baggage. Arielle and Joe were focused a little too much. Now that they had nothing really...decent...to think about, to look progressivo, para a frente to, all they could think about was the present. Alyssa just wanted to get to the hotel so she could blast One Direction and annoy her brother, and best friend.
They dragged their luggage out of the airport, and took one look around. "Nope, there is no Gravity Falls close to this airport," Joe concluded.
"Maybe we should take a bus, then," Arielle suggested. "We do have money."
    "Who's going to pay?"
Arielle's look became serious. "Rock, Paper, Scissors."
With the three playing, Joe conquered both girls, and now it was down to Arielle and Alyssa.
"Concentration..." Arielle told herself, and she and Alyssa shook their hands. Arielle's hand was now in the shape of scissors, and Alyssa's, paper.
"I WIN!" Arielle performed a five segundo victory dance. "YES!"
Alyssa muttered some colorful words and waited for a bus to pull over. Fortunately, they all found out it cost three dollars per person. Alyssa only had to pay nine dollars.
"This bus is going to Gravity Falls, right?" Joe asked the bus driver. He only nodded, and the three took the closest assento they could find.
    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
"Well, what do ya know. The hotel's right in back of the sign for the bus stop," Joe pointed out.
The hotel was nothing fancy. It had about four floors. It was probably decent on the inside, but definitely not a four estrela hotel.
    "Convenient," Arielle remarked. "Very."
"Let's just get our rooom!" Alyssa rushed. "COME ON COME COME ON!" She ran ahead.
Arielle and Joe simply shrugged and walked after her. Once inside, Joe spoke to the man at the front escrivaninha, mesa and they all received their own key cards.
Before they knew it, they were in their hotel room, in their own separate beds. They were small, but comfy enough. Good for the whole summer.
"So, what do you think of Gravity Falls?" Joe asked Alyssa and Arielle.
"I don't know enough about this town yet...but I bet it'll be terrible," Arielle said, in between yawns. "I need to go to sleep. Good night, guys." She turned over on her side and was out.
"I'm gonna go to cama too. 'Night, brother..." Alyssa decided aloud, not even answering Joe's question. After that, all was silent.
And Joe couldn't stop staring up at the ceiling.
