Chapter 1
Penny's First dia
"Penny, come on, you're going to be late" said Bolt, as he paced across the floor. "Bolt, hold on! I'm hurrying as fast as I can!" shouted Penny from her bedroom. "Quit your barking already!" Bolt ran along behind Penny as she raced out the door to the bus. Bolt came to a halt and shouted "Wait a minute, what is that yellow machine?!" Mittens ran out the door and said "It's called a bus - people use it to go places when they don't have cars." "Wait a minute, there's a car in the driveway." Bolt replied. "Penny is too young, and her mother is too busy" said Mittens. "But I don't want Penny on a bus... it's too dangerous" said Bolt.
All of a sudden Rhino comes rolling down the steps in his ball. Rhino shouted "Bolt is right, Penny needs protection! Bolt should be with her at all times and know everything that she is doing." Mittens looked irritated and said "Bolt, Penny needs freedom, you can't be with her all the time." "I don't care; she's my person, and I'm her dog and I need to make sure that she is safe!" said Bolt.
Bolt, Mittens, and Rhino all went inside and had a long boring dia until Penny got home. When Penny got início Bolt was excited and jumped everywhere. Bolt, Penny, and Mr. Carrot played outside all dia until jantar time. After jantar Bolt and Penny watched their favorito show 'Dogs 101' and then went to bed.
Chapter 2
The Great Escape
The seguinte dia Penny woke up and did her normal morning routine. Bolt was already outside before Penny, waiting for the yellow machine. When Penny came outside the bus was pulling up and Mittens and Rhino followed her. "Bye Bolt" Penny said "I'll see you later." Bolt didn't want Penny going on the yellow machine, but when Penny tripped on the steps accidentaly Bolt was raging mad, he has had enough!! When the bus pulled away, Bolt couldn't help it; he chased after it rapidly with Mittens and Rhino sprinting behind him trying to stop him.
They all kept following the bus until they came to a huge neighborhood. The bus was going too fast and making too many turns. Bolt couldn't keep up. When Bolt turned a corner he saw the yellow machine parked at a driveway and the back was open. He thought it was the same yellow machine. He jumped in the back and Mittens and Rhino followed him. "Bolt, are you insane?! You could have got us killed!!" shouted Mittens. "I was protecting Penny!" Bolt replied. "Now, how are we supposed to get home?" Mittens argued. Bolt backed into a box holding mais on topo, início of it. When he pushed it, the box on topo, início that was clearly the heaviest fell on Mittens and Bolt.
"Bolt! Mittens!" Rhino shouted. The box couldn't hurt him because of his plastic ball. He got out and looked at Mittens and Rhino, they were both knocked out cold. Their luck had not changed, at the last segundo a fairly heavy box fell on Rhino too. It was enough for him to get knocked out. They were all covered in boxes, and the delivery guy could not see them. He then closed the engradado, caixa they were in, and then they were off!!!
Chapter 3
Jet Lag
When Bolt woke up he couldn't see a thing - it was too dark. He woke up Mittens and Rhino and they were all shocked! "What are we doing here? We have to get out! We have to find Penny!" Bolt shouted. "It looks like we are in a crate! If we all push on the door, maybe we can open it." replied Mittens. They tried slamming into the door twice, but the third time they finally made it. "Where are we at?" Rhino asked, while getting into his ball. "It looks like we are on another truck." Mittens said. "It looks like it's a semi." Bolt said "It looks way to big to be a small one." "Well we have to get out!" Mittens said. "O.k. if we all hang onto each other, we can jump out and make it!" said Bolt.
Bolt, Mittens, and Rhino all grabbed paws. Mittens was haning onto Rhino and Bolt was about to open the latch. And then Bolt opened it and they all jumped out! While clutching onto each other with their eyes still closed Mittens said "Ahh Bolt?" Bolt replied "Yeah?" "Why didn't we hit the ground?" Mittens asked. Bolt said with his eyes still closed "Because I ... oh!" They all opened their eyes together and saw that they were plunging 70,000 feet towards an ocean! They all three screamed while clutching each other. While they were falling Bolt saw an island close por but none of them were great swimmers and they wouldn't make it. As they hit the water, all Bolt's hopes were gone. The waves were crashing above him like a hurricane and he didn't know what to do. He decided that he wasn't going to try anything. He was hopeless!
All of a sudden Bolt blacked out. The seguinte thing he knew he was on a hot sandy de praia, praia with Mittens and Rhino lying beside him. He saw a bunch of cachorros hovering above him. "Is he alive? Is he waking up? Will he be o.k.?" all the cachorros said. Bolt stood up, he didn't know where he was. Mittens and Rhino stood up too. "Where are we?" Mittens asked. "I don't know." Bolt said. "Who got us out of the water?" Bolt asked. One of the cachorros replied "Oh, that was Violet, but she just left." "Are we dead?" Rhino asked. "No, but you're in heaven on earth." replied one of the dogs. "What does that mean?" Mittens asked "And where are we?" One of the cachorros replied you're in Armoursville, Florida - an island off the coast of Florida... but nobody really knows it exists. Bolt, Mittens and Rhino looked at each other in confusion and wondered what to do next.
