The story was more interesting and more well presented. I love the music more and the animation. I might like the characters more in Hercules but I can't think of something else.

Easily! Hunchback has a wonderful background score, animation, songs, and characters. It's a bit dark for my tastes but it's still a very majestic film.

Quasimodo and Esmeralda are two of my all time favourite characters <3 The songs, score, animation, characters, story are so hauntingly beautiful (if 'hauntingly' is a word...). Hercules is a good film, but it's just not as much of a classic as Hunchback is...

delightful, haunting, and fluid. In my top 3 favorite Disney films (where the music is concerned).

Hunchback is more emotional, better animated and has better music. Hercules jokes around too much to take it seriously as a film.

Both movie are enjoyable, but the Hunchback of Notre Dame is the all-around better film. The only problem with the movies are the Gargoyles, and even you can block them out if you want to. It is hard to take Hercules seriously with all of it's pop culture references, and different choices he producers made to make the film.
