I think most of the Fantasia animation is timeless. It's STUNNING even by today's standards, and the scenes and music meshes almost perfectly.

Unfortunately, I think most of Fantasia 2000's animation has long started to show its age. It's true they utilized the newest technologies at the time to make the animation, but those were still infant technologies, and it shows now. An example would be Disney's Steadfast Tin Soldier. At the time? Ground-breaking. Now? It is VERY DATED CGI.

Fantasia's animation is breath taking. Fantasia 2000 certainly is beautiful, but the CGI doesn't compare to the newest computer technology.
