7. Would I watch it again?

Tonight's rewatch: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Last time watched: 2001 (seriously, how can I consider myself a disney Princess fã if I waited THIS LONG to watch this movie again?)

Lets start off with how much I liked this movie when I was a kid...

To be totally honest I didn't really like this movie as much as Aladdin, The Lion King, or Lady and the Tramp. It wasn't that this movie bored me, I actually liked some parts of it, but the problem with this movie was it scared me. A lot. This was one of the few disney filmes that actually scared me as a kid (examples: Pinocchio and Hunchback of Notre Dame) so I never watched this movie too often. I wouldn't even go on the Snow White ride in Disneyland until I was an adult.

How much of this movie have I forgotten:

I'm only a few minutos in and I'm remembering why I used to be so scared of this movie. This movie is dark. I remembered that the Evil queen wanted Snow White's coração cut out but I forgot how creepy the woodsman looked when he was about to cut out her coração and when she's running around the forest and it's all dark and the trees look scary and stuff. For a little kid that can be really intense but at least now I can watch it and actually appreciate all the work the animators put into making those trees look so scary. The Evil queen herself has moments where she looks scary even before her transformation. Speaking of, the transformation wasn't as scary as I remember it being but the way the queen says, "My hands!" put a little shudder up my spine.

I've also forgotten how sweet and gentle Snow White is. I've compared her to Fluttershy from My Little pónei, pônei in the past but I really am seeing a similarity, from her sweet voice to how gentle she is with the animals. I used to make fun of how naive she was but watching this now and remembering how old she is I can understand why she would go to a stranger's início and clean up and then let an "innocent" old woman inside. Heck, you'd have to be made of stone to not help a little old woman out.

And I can't believe I forgot how cute the animais were! One of my favorito things about disney filmes is the animal sidekicks, whether they be silly sidekicks like Dante or Jaq and Gus or serious sidekicks like Flit or Maximus.

The dwarfs made me laugh the whole time too. I can't remember the last time a disney sidekick made me laugh this much (besides Genie, of course). It felt like I was watching an old Mickey rato cartoon. The dwarfs interactions with Snow White were so enjoyable to watch too, even Grumpy being, well, grumpy towards Snow White. Even though the dwarfs and Snow White really only knew each other for one night their friendship feels mais real than some other friendships we've seen without it being so rushed. And there didn't even need to be some kind of test of friendship or anything to prove like filmes today. The dwarfs and Snow White care about each other through the whole movie without any conflict and that's so refreshing to watch.

While I definitely remember that the transformation scene scared me as a kid I forgot how much I loved the potion making process. It's something I never see in anything involving a witch and while that disappoints me it feels right that we don't see anyone put together a potion the same way the Evil queen does because then it wouldn't be so unique.

I still couldn't cry during Snow White's funeral but it's not like it wasn't still sad, it just takes a lot to make me cry while watching a movie :P And while Snow White and her Prince are still low on my favorito couple list, I can't say I didn't amor the true love's kiss at the end or the amor songs they sang.

Princess:

I amor Snow White! I thought she was so cute and sweet and I amor her voice. She has moved up my favorito princess list. She was number 10 on my favorito princess list, but now she's 6.

Movie:

I had so much fun watching this with my husband and it brought back so many memories and so much nostalgia. This movie was also 10 on my favorito princess movie list, and is now 6.

Rating: 7/10

How much has my opinion changed?

So much! As I've said before this movie brought up so much nostalgia and I had fun watching it. This really was the movie that started it all and it deserves all the amor it gets.

Would I watch it again?

Yes! And this time I won't wait 18 years.

Okay this was fun to write and it was fun watching Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. I'm excited for seguinte week when I'll be watching Sleeping Beauty.

Chapter 29—Angel's Deceit

The cachorrinhos and parents gasped. Buster revealed himself from behind the trees, smiling devilishly at the puppies.
“Buster,” Tramp told him, growling. “Get away from us.”
Buster smirked. “You don’t scare me… you lost your touch when you turned your back on everything and settled down with Miss Powderpuff.”
“Why are you here?” Lady asked worriedly. “Can’t you just leave us alone?”
“Oh no, Miss Powderpuff,” Buster explained with a smirk. “I need revenge. I don’t like...

“Dad, why are you even here?” Patch asked. “I’m not coming início with you. Maybe you got Lucky to come back. But at your place,...
