He did not pay enough attention to her and let her get away with way too much sass....and basically he rewarded her temper and disregard to tradition by giving in to her in the end and changing a law that had been in effect for generations....Also did he even notice when she came up missing?

He just spoiled Jasmine and didn't seem to care about her being gone he just went "Oh look you're back! Your sad let's talk about it."

The Sultan at least has the excuse of being under a spell for most of the movie...as soon as Jafar is gone, he pays attention to Jasmine again.

And I really can't believe that Hubert and General Li are gone...I mean, really? They both managed to raise great sons for whom they apparently cared deeply. With so many bad fathers in the running, I think they should be still there....

^A lot of disney fans don't use good reasons like that, they just pick whoever they dislike the most.

He is way too forceful when it comes to his kids, and having his opinions put on them, and is too unreasonable. Breaking your kids stuff and constantly patronizing them because they did not do what you want only pushed your children away. Ariel is his FAVOURITE (sigh) because she is the best singer

@Jayden-G I think Ariel is the favourite because she is the youngest and looks the most like her mother. The singing is just another thing to be proud of.
