Lucid dreaming is basically when you realize that you're dreaming in the middle of a dream and don't wake up. The goal is to become so lucid that you can control your dreams and do whatever you want- create, destroy, fly, interact with the figments of your imagination inside the dream (a la Inception).

I'm trying to learn how to lucid dream right now, and although it may take a while I'm determined to reach the highest level of lucidity.

I think Rapunzel would love to be able to explore the world without leaving her tower- she's read enough about it and painted stings from it enough to create a decent enough mental reconstruction to have fun in.

is it possible to have done it subconsciously... When I was ten I had this reoccuring nightmare and I sort of "made" it into a good dream xD. or is thatnot lucid dreaming? xD

^^Oh yeah, totally. Some people have lucid dreams naturally, and it's easier to have them if you're younger. Most people have to hear about them to be able to have one though- it's like, of you don't believe you can have one, then you won't because you're limiting your mind.

^^Well, I just started yesterday, although I've kinda had some before...I've had some dreams where I sorta know I'm dreaming but have no control over anything.

I've done that before. I seem to do it a lot, actually. If my dream goes wrong, I'm always like "HEY BITCH, MY DREAM AND MY RULES". xD When I was little, I avoided nightmares by being all "bitch, I remember the end of this fucking film, he got hacked with a chainsaw and the survivors went home. He can't eat me when he's in pieces."
