I also think that she might be good friends with Rapunzel, buut I can't say for sure since Tangled hasn't come out yet.

I pick her just because I dunno.
Ariel would betray any of her friends, so I can't see any of these princesses as her best friend.

^^Seriously? You had to go there? Come on. You freak out when we say a peep about Belle, and then you say THAT about Ariel?

I dislike Ariel's behavior too, but I definitely don't see what indicates that she would betrayed her friends. She stop to save Flounder from shark, even though she was in danger.

I don't care what people say about Belle. Sometimes I'm shocked, and only wonder when they think in rather strange (for me) way. But I don't care and don't freak out.
And I always speak my mind. If I think so about Ariel, I will say it.

Anyway, it's my personal opinion.

You are talking about extreme situation, if she had to save one: there would be probably Sebastian and Flounder. It would be hard to chose. I think she loves them pretty much as Eric.

@ppv: You know I'd love to debate this with you, but I'm in the middle of my Honors Bio class. Just forget it- we're never going to agree. The way you said (er, typed) it made it look like she'd betray them for anything. Like, "Hey Ariel, would you kill Flounder for a free popsicle?" "SURE!" Saying she'll just betray them anyway implies that no matter what, she'd somehow end up betraying them, and it sort of offended me. Maybe "freak out" was the wrong thing to say, but seriously, try thinking about how what you're saying might make an Ariel fan feel. You just pretty much called her a backstabber.

@cromulanfav: well, we don't know how she would behave in such situation, I admit. But I think she would easily betrayed her friend if she tried to stop her from being so stupid. And I'm sure Jasmine, Mulan, Belle, Pocahontas and so on were enough smart to understand that her family was much more important and they would tried to stop her. And there was only 2 choices for them: either her friend whoever it'd be like Sebastian would yield to Ariel's persuasion and she would still be friends with her (but I hope Mulan, Poca, Belle and Jas would not yield) OR Ariel would betray them.

@firegirl1515: you know, I personally think that it's impossible always to think how others would react. ANd I hope you saw and still see how some fans dislike my favourite princesses (not only Belle by the way) and they don't choose only polite words, and how I react.
Besides... Sure, it's only my fault, but it's really difficult for me to express my thoughts in English. So sometimes - well very often unfortunately - I just can't say (type) it better. SORRY! I honestly do my best.
