No, I think his outfit gives him the confidence he's lacking when he's in his rags. I mean we all know he is a total prince underneath it all, but HE doesn't for most of the movie - these clothes make him feel better about his station in life. He is a different person in them and totally hot, even with that really stupid hat!!! ;) LOL

Aladdin's outfit makes him look like a ponce. That hat should be burned but the rest of it's not too bad, I suppose.

Seeing as, in that time period especially, Jasmine is actually wearing what the equivalent of prostitutes wore. A princess in that time and now in that part of the world would never be caught dead in that. It is not considered proper attire for someone of her class.

I wonder how a real Arabian princess dresses, especially in Aladdin's time period.
