Its Jasmine-Believe me, I am a Star Wars fangirl and have grown up watching star wars. Im not old enough to have seen the originals in theatres but I watched the movies when I was little and then of course the prequels are part of my generation. Plus I am the only granddaughter amoung a bunch of boys. Leia, and Jasmine are both fiesty and stand up to authority. They have so called "scoundrals" in love with them - Han and Aladdin. They both tricked there men into thinking they have feelings for them at first when Leia gives Han a little teasing kiss and Aladdin and Jasmine flirt with each other. OH and I forgot they are both tied up and made into slave girls. Leia and her famous metal bikini, and Jamine and her sexy red outfit.

Ive never seen it but judging by what you say then she definately sounds like a non-disney version of Jasmine.

Like Leah, Jasmine is headstrong and would protect her people (although in the original film Aladdin, Jasmine seems quite selfish) but they also both have aspects of being an archypal princess ie being kidnapped, being rescued etc.

My next choice would be Pocahontas.

As far as being feisty, probably Jasmine, but I think Leia is a bit less selfish. She did everything to save her planet and then the Republic. Jasmine ran away from her responsibilities.

But personality wise, I think Jasmine.

It's Leia, not Leah. And since I'm a HUGE Star Wars fan, I am utterly shocked that so many people think Leia is like Jasmine. 1. Jasmine is a whiner. Leia is not. In fact, she despises whining because she's not the pity-party type. Instead, she looks for ways to help others first before worrying about herself. So, she's VERY unlike Jasmine in that sense. 2. Jasmine isn't rough and tough. She's one of those princesses who wants to explore but can't fend for herself. She's a pretty face, but she's not meant to be a fighter. Mulan, on the other hand, is a warrior girl who can defend a country if she has to and looks after others before herself. 3. Leia is willing to do whatever it takes to protect her people. That's the WHOLE reason why she gave the Death Star construction blueprints to R2-D2. Even though she was risking her life, she gave the information to a trustworthy friend in order to protect her home planet, known as Alderaan, as well as the rest of the innocent suffering at the hands of the Galatic Empire. This is MUCH MUCH MUUUUCCCCH like when Mulan had to save China from the Huns, even though there was a very probable chance that she would be killed in doing so.

So, as you can see, Leia is definitely NOT a Jasmine; Jasmine never accomplished half of what Leia ever accomplished, nor did she ever have half the humble spirit that Leia had. Leia always thought of others first, JUST LIKE MULAN, even if it meant that she had to put her life on the line : )
