To me, it is. And it's in the sequel at the end of movie right after Mulan and Shang are officially hitched. I don't see why people don't consider it a wedding dress. It bears almost the same exact resemblance to the matchmakers gown from the first movie.
This is a typical of Chinese wedding dress and it's pretty accurate through Chinese culture. People might be though it's not because the dress is not white like most of conventional wedding dresses are.
If that's the case I think I might want to redo that round (again). All the people who said it wasn't a wedding dress didn't give a clear reason why they thought it wasn't a wedding dress and I had one or two people say it was just a celebration dress (source?)
^They didn't provide a source. You're welcome to do as you wish. I don't understand the discrimination towards it, because it seriously just reminds me of the matchmakers gown which was also wedding dress/engagement apparel.
To clarify, I mostly voted for it because it isn't really that special...it might be a wedding dress, but it only looks like one of Mulan's standard dresses in another colour scheme.
I'm starting to think people just said it's not a wedding dress as an excuse to vote for it because all the other times I asked in the comments of the rounds no one will answer
