Not really. She did it in a "I'm so glad you aren't going to tell on me." Sort of way. Oh and please, I know 8804 will say yes as well as PrincessLullaby, but I'm just saying that I'm pretty sure it's not a good thank you for ALL of what Sebastian did for her.

"Yay! You're doing what I want. Now I'll kiss you then put you down and then promptly forget you exist until the next time you're directly in front of me."

Tygers_Eye, Ariel didn't kiss him because he wouldn't tell on her. She kissed him right after he said, "Alright alright, I'll help you find that prince." She smiled because she was like "Yay! You're helping me!" She kissed him because she was like, "Thank you!" Of course she would be happy he was going to help her, and she also thanked him for it. She put him down because... what was she supposed to do, keep holding him? She was the one who picked him up, she's going to have to put him down. They had to get moving anyway, they didn't even know where Eric was at that point. She put him down gently on the rock, and then when she had on the rag dress, Sebastian was in her pocket. When Ariel was taking a bath, NO ONE noticed Sebastian. He was practically in the laundry maid's hands, and she didn't even notice. The next time Sebastian was directly in front of Ariel, she saved his life.
