My favorite part about Elsa is her elegance.
EDIT: Thanks for adding an option for other!
The reason I didn't add "none" was because I just made a poll giving people a reason to say why they didn't like her and didn't want to include that here. The DP club can get a little too negative as it is. =/
I think that this might go under "relatable" but personally, I thought the creators of Frozen tried a bit too hard with making her relatable to teenage girls, so I don't like that about her. It's a trend, these days, to consider yourself a special snowflake and feel the need to "let it go."
I also love her elegance but I do love her clothes too.
I think anyone that's suffered from fear, stress, anxiety, depression, self-repression, tried to hide something about themselves that they thought/knew their family/society wouldn't accept (homosexuality, Aspergers, autism, social awkwardness, etc) felt exhausted from trying to conform to social norms, etc. can relate to her struggles.
It's not just about being a "special snowflake" (although there are idiot teenagers that can walk away with that impression), it's just anyone who's struggled with themselves and their place in their immediate society.
I'd argue it's different for Ariel though, since she doesn't TRY to fit into her society. In fact, she doesn't even TRY to reign in her impulses, delay instant gratification, or burden herself with the thoughts, feelings, or problems of others.
Like Mulan, Elsa TRIES to fit in. Ariel doesn't. Elsa suppresses her own desires for what she thinks is the safety of others (doesn't play with her sister or mingle with her subjects for years even though she wants to because she's afraid of hurting them). Ariel doesn't even bother trying to reign in her impulses for someone else. She feels like doing something? She goes right ahead and does it, and laughs or blows off the distress, warnings, or cries to turn back from others. (Flounder in the sunken ship, Sebastian over EVERYTHING.)
Mulan was my favorite for years because I know how it feels to try so hard to fit into the role society has made for you, fail miserably, and wonder why you can't do it. Also, the shame, weight, and burden of my parents' disappointment. (Whereas Ariel DOESN'T CARE that she embarrasses, lets down, worries and disobeys her father and her family. Their feelings mean NOTHING to her.)
I don't like Elsa as much, but I definitely know how it feels to feel there is something fundamentally wrong with who I am as a person that society will never accept, spent years being sheltered and schooled on how a "normal person" is supposed to act, spent years trying to hide my Asperger tendencies and pass as a "normal person" and fail miserably, felt afraid of interacting with others and felt afraid that people would "see" and reject something fundamentally wrong with me, felt exhausted by the lifelong performance, and then at some point in college just got so sick of acting and said, "Fuck it, I'm Aspergers!"
