What bothers me is the lack of scenes where she isn't controlled by her fears. During "Let It Go", she proudly proclaims that her fears can't hold her back anymore and even gives herself a makeover in order to symbolize the "new" Elsa. But the very next scene she panicks the moment Anna goes through the ice palace's door. That's why I think "Life is Too Short" would have worked ideally. In that scene, Ela is very self-assured and independent. After she inadvertendly hurts her sister, she would panick and feel her fears take over her as she realizes what she has done and summons Marshmallow. Then the movie could proceed more or less the way it actually did, with Elsa resolving to "Conceal, don't feel" as her palace grows more monstrous and fearsome. posted over a year ago. last edited over a year ago
