"Rotten Tomatoes is a website launched in 1998 and devoted to reviews, information, and news of films; it is widely known as a film review aggregator. Its name derives from the cliché of audiences throwing rotten tomatoes or vegetables when disapproving a poor stage performance. The company was created by Senh Duong and since January 2010 has been owned by Flixster, acquired in 2011 as a Warner Bros. company."

Essentially it's a website of well-known film critics whose reviews of the film are averaged out to a collective score.

This list DEFINITELY needs some tweaking-- Snow White & Cinderella being first are questionable, I understand the nostalgic factor but can you overlook Beauty and the Beast's cinematic triumph for those two? Aladdin should NOT be above Beauty and the Beast or The Little Mermaid, and Brave should be higher than Princess and the Frog. I adore Mulan, but Tangled and Frozen should be higher than it. I'm half and half about this list.

Again, remember to look at this from an OBJECTIVE standpoint, not from your personal favorite list.

I think Princess and the Frog is WAY to low, that's my major gripe. And I'm not sure if Snow White and the 7 Dwarves deserves first place. So, I agree with everything princesslullaby is saying about what should be higher.

Honestly, I'd place The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast higher than Snow White and Cinderella, and bring Tangled and Frozen higher on the list (I personally don't like them, but they've gotten overwhelmingly positive critical and financial success), but otherwise I guess it's okay.

I can't really get past Snow White and the Seven Dwarves being placed higher than Beauty and the Beast though. While the former is a timeless classic that has withstood the passage of time, so has the latter. In fact, think the former is still a product of its time (Snow White looking like Betty Boop, anyone?), while the latter is a cinematic masterpiece that has broken barriers and almost flawlessly executed every aspect of filming - story, pacing, characters, dialogue, songs, score, animation, etc.

Not really. I think overall people like Brave, Tangled, PatF, and Mulan a lot more. I don't think people like SWatSD that much. And usually, not too many people enjoy SB.

I agree completely with Tygers_eye. Snow White does NOT deserve to be that low, Mulan should be higher then Frozen and Tangled, Cinderella and Aladdin shouldn't be so high, Brave should not be higher then Pocahontas, overall this is not a very good list. I get it, Snow White is a classic, but that doesn't give it an excuse for everything. It's not a movie like BATB that all generations can enjoy, it's just kind of cute for it's own time but nothing special compared to the others.

I seriously believe Pocahontas deserves better than that, after all it was quite a hit when it came out. Also I think Beauty and the Beast should probably be first.
