No Anna or Elsa, they're too busy being cash cows
Every time I come back from a hiatus I always do this and since it's been confirmed (in an indirect roundabout kinda way) that Moana will be apart of the lineup, it's as good of a time as any.

12. Moana

There's something about her that's just very forgettable, maybe it's because her movie evokes such apathy in me. Everything about her just screams "perfect modern role model" even mais so than princesses like Belle, Poca, mulan or Tiana and I find her even mais "marketable", "manufactored" and obnoxiously flawless than Rapunzel. Even becoming chief feels like some gimmicky "role model" thing, like "look, she's a strong leader". If I was introduced to her when I was younger like the anterior princesses maybe I'd like her fine but then again I actually DON'T like Simba either (he bores me) and he has a very similar "becoming leader of my people" arc, and at least his movie, which I don't even amor as much as other people, is actually memorable.

Now with all the issues, people have with Disney, one of the films that have legitimate grievances is Pocahontas. And as you can imagine, because there ARE legit grievances to be had with Pocahontas, sites like Tumblr have an absolute field dia with it. Personally, the mais research I did on the situation around this film, the mais I was actually fascinated por it.

I know it's easy to write this movie off but how it came to be is a lot mais nuanced than you think. It actually was gonna be a story closer to what happened in history but then Jefferey Katzenberg's overwhelming desire to get another Oscar nomination (after BatB) clouded Disney's judgment and it resulted in the controversial admittedly weaker entry into the disney Animated Canon we have now. Kinda like how the "meta" "woke" crap is affecting modern disney films today, sacrificing the story for what's marketable. Although I do feel Pocahontas still has a lot mais "heart" put into it than most of the revival films.

My issues with these two aside, they do have pretty cool designs
I already shared some of these grievances in a mural post so the adrenaline is down but at least now I can somewhat organize my thoughts. In some ways this kind of a part two to my first rant.

Now, if you ask me the golden age of the disney Princess lineup was that sweet spot when it was 10 princesses, I mean it was the first eight characters and films that most of us knew and loved, and grew up with, plus the two who kinda pretty much revived (no pun intended) the franchise and they fitted in quite nicely.

We even had a really cool website where the princesses talked to you, you could dress each of them up and play fun mini-games. Y'all remember that website? I even made a few collages of the OG ten, as you can see por my current user icon, I might share another one here.

Then things changed when Valente came along, and it kinda bothered me. At first I thought I was just being biased as hell, but then Moana came along, and to a lesser extent Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante came beforehand, and I started to think that maybe it's something bigger than that.

Pocahontas is one of those disney films that, despite being middle-of-the-road for me, I have to rewatch fairly often. Something about this movie intrigues me. Maybe it's because I want to like the movie mais than I currently do and understand why some fãs revere it. I might not be there quite yet after this most recent rewatch, but I'm narrowing in on what specific things I like and dislike about the film. Now's the time to share those thoughts.

Praises
1) The backgrounds in this movie aren't just beautiful. THEY'RE GORGEOUS. The subtle lines, the designs, and especially the rich as cores are just wonderful to look at!

2) The main título scene, "Steady as the Beating Drum" -- I wouldn't change a thing about it. I think it makes a great introduction to the rest of the movie, and the segue from the last scene is nice, too.

3) John Smith is my favorito character of the movie. I don't know how realistic it is that someone who recently arrived at the New World would change his views rather quickly, becoming mais understanding and respectful of the natives so quickly like he does...but it doesn't bother me here. I find that I also...

I Know Why the Princess Sings

Just as cinderela graciously bids good morning with such romantic fervor, Snow White sends well wishes that are not unlike the dreams of amor and hope Aurora has sung of before. While Belle muses of the great wide beyond her poor provincial place and jasmim bemoans her gilded palace cage, the restless twain are armed with the familiar faith Tiana holds to as she prays her labors and pains will urso frutas someday. Facing profound confliction, mulan ponders upon her contrasting reflection just as Pocahontas meditates on which path is true to imitate. Sure as light, Elena's valor takes flight and shines the way, creating monumental waves of positive change like Moana who triumphantly proclaims her own name with the same level of conviction Merida conveys as she opposes her would be fate. Inspired with a great exuberance to live, Rapunzel leaps into the unknown, Anna seizes her moment, Elsa discovers the strength to relinquish her fears, and dear Ariel dares to reach beyond her great barrier reef. Dare to Dream, Keep in Mind Your Strengths and Reach for the Stars for to...

Yes, we're back again then we'll disappear, I promise!

Hello! This is our fourth collab artigo on here (we amor doing these, despite some of the complaints we’ve gotten), and we thought it would be fun to do another one. This time, we’ll be ranking the most attractive disney Princes (or amor interests). This artigo is with me, former fanpop user Sk8er__grl, and link

DISCLAIMER: This can get kind of hard to read sometimes and we're sorry, but we did spend time editing it to make it easier to read. Also, there's a lot of bad language, but hey, fanpop changed their age to sixteen so I think we can all handle it. I hope you enjoy!

The Danish Lads
Hi guys, I haven't been doing this in a while, only this time it is the popular Danish rock band called Michael Learns to Rock (known por their abbreviation MLTR). Ready?

1. Sleeping Child

Snow White and Princess Aurora will definitely sing this song because they both sleep till they wait for their true love's kiss!

2. Blue Night

Considering that cinderela dance with Prince Charming during the night at the ball. It would be the perfect dance and duet for them to sing too!

3. The Actor

aladdin would sing this song to Princess Jasmine, looking at the lyrics itself especially when aladdin is not really Prince Ali after all.

4. How Many Hours

From the Beast's point of view, the Beast wonders how long will Belle breaks the curse and look him into his eyes that he really is the prince that we all grew to love.

5. Strange Foreign Beauty

John Smith will sing this song to Pocahontas, considering the interracial amor that they experience throughout the movie.

Though not nearly as much as Merida and other revival princesses,Tiana is occasionally bashed for contributing to Disney's current trend of "meta", "woke" commentary with her whole "hard work, you can't just wish" shtick. While this does irritate me, I try to separate film makers' intentions from the actual context of the movie and the character.

In the first act of the film, she's portrayed as diligent and determined but she's not as in your face about it. For the most part, her thing is "partying and dancing just isn't my for me". She's not insistent, condescending or critical of others for their values. In fact, her friends and her mother are the ones being critical of her, and when her friends call her out for her workaholic nature, you can see in her reactions and facial expressions that it does bother her.

It's when she turns into a frog that a mais arrogant and self-righteous Tiana emerges, but to be fair, these characteristics seem to stem from her reactions to Naveen's equally arrogant carefree ways. Perhaps the writers went too far in making them "foils" to each other, and thus both their personalities come off a bit too heavy handed. Naveen is...

Fantastical Fashionistas

What makes for a remarkable disney Princess dress, the princess herself, of course, n while the disney Princesses are renowned for their exemplary qualities that showcase the most empyreal aspects of the human spirit, it is the artful assemblage of accessories and garments which assist in emanating those qualities that make for the noblest of ensembles. This is what I believe are the most beautiful disney Princess dresses. Which ones are urs?

10. Snow White's Primary as cores Dress
A pure joy in essence, Snow White's lovely dress charms with its bold, fun colors, puff sleeves, high white colarinho, colar and fetching red head bow. A confectionary delight indeed, the entire attire of the 1st disney princess will forever b a sweet memory.

9. Rapunzel's Purple Dirndl Outfit
Each of the disney princesses have a signature feature on her outfit n Rapunzel has rightfully claimed the alluring renda, rendas, laço up corpete as her own. Though technically her peasant dress, this frilly, lavender n lilás number is just as endearing as any disney Princess...

I don't really like Lindsay Ellis at all but I never thought I'd see the dia where I agree with her on something and she'd have a video that perfectly sums up how I feel about disney today.

I was watching her Beauty and the Beast 2017 review and she pretty much hit the nail on the head of all my issues. She was basically complaining about how years of whiny, nitpicky nobodies on the internet like you and me going on and on about "plothole" this and "problematic" that regarding disney filmes has pretty much resulted in the hot bunda messes modern disney films are today. How Beauty and the Beast is a terrible adaptation of the OG story and it's contribution to Disney's current obsession with being "meta, self aware, subversive" and "progressive, feminist, woke", only adds to the nonsense.

And it's so funny because Lindsay Ellis the exact type of person these modern films are trying to appease with this stuff but now that it's affecting a film SHE likes (BatB) even she agrees that this crap has gone too far. In fact, in the video, she's actually kind of apologetic for contributing to this mentality. ("I will never cease my pendence walk")

This review was originally posted months atrás but I deleted it because......I was gonna use it for a school assignment and I didn't wanna leave this up so my lecturer could procurar and accuse me of plagiarism. lmao

Anyway, I ended up not using it and I decided to put it back up.

So right off the bat, I have to say that this movie is very.....average. It honestly feels like a tv episode padded out with songs to make it feature length. Moana is a likable enough character, I can almost pinpoint exact moments where she's like anterior disney female protagonists like Ariel, Pocahontas, mulan and Rapunzel but maybe that's just me being a seasoned disney fan.

I do like the fact that the story has no allusion to marriage and romance at all instead of being dismissive or condescending towards those concepts. The songs are okay, I probably just need to listen to them a few mais times to really get the hang of them. One thing I will say is that the transitions into the songs are rather forced and awkward in my opinion.

As asteriamalfoy recently reported on the club wall, it appears that Moana will soon become the newest member of the disney Princess lineup. The club's reception to the news is a mixed bag, which is the latest example of how the general fanpop opinion (namely, this club's opinion) doesn't always match that of the internet. It's interesting why that is, and I will attempt to find the reason here.

Before going forward, be aware that everything that I consider an "opinion" of fanpop and/or the internet is a generalization. True, there are some users on both this website and the rest of the worldwide web who are in their respective minorities. This is merely a breakdown of how I see it and my attempt to get to the root of the issue -- why is Moana beloved in some places, but not in others? Time to find out.

The Difference of Opinion
I find that on Youtube, Disney-related sites (such as "Oh My Disney"), and other sites (Buzzfeed and the like), Moana is a well-liked character. The common reasons people like her from what I've seen are:

Loving this poster!
Hi guys, since I had done Let It Go from Disney's Frozen. Here are my favourite international pop version of Beauty and the Beast, I will most likely include the 2017 version as well. Ready?

Celine Dion & Peabo Bryson

The original one that started it all, I amor Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson, especially the former and I was very happy that this song boosted her career!

Sarah Chen & Jackie Chan (Mandarin Chinese)

I had just listen to the Mandarin version, and I was amazed that Jackie Chan could really sing this song especially. So, good job to both Sarah and Jackie!

H & Claire

From the late 90's/ early 2000's band Steps, this song was release for the UK release of the movie when came out on IMAX theatre in 2002. Wonderful rendition once again!

Serafin Zubiri & Michelle (Spanish)

I absolutely amor Spanish, I personally think that this song suits better in Spanish alongside the original English version!

Hi everybody! First let me apologize for being a bit late getting the artigo up this time. I'm sure you're all familiar with the business of the holiday season, and due to that I got a little behind. Also, I would like to thank everyone who helped with the article, as I could not have done in alone.

Anyway, before we get started let me give you a brief run down of the Meet the DP fãs articles, in case you happen to new to the club and/or unfamiliar with them. These artigos have been done in past por a few other users to showcase some of the current disney Princess fans. Now, obviously, there are many other members in this club, besides the ones listed here, but it would be pretty much impossible to include everyone in the list (for various reasons). But anyway, each person involved is listed according to their favorito princess, and there is a short summary of that person, so we can all get to know each other a little bit better.

Tangled: The Series, now called Rapunzel's enrolados Adventure, premiered in March 2017 with the pilot movie, Tangled: Before Ever After (hopefully that sentence wasn't too confusing!). The film sees Rapunzel adjusting to life in Corona and introduces several concepts that the rest of the series will explore: Rapunzel's golden hair growing back, the growth of magical spiky rocks that can devastate Corona, foes with a thirst for revenge, Rapunzel and Eugene's marriage, and Rapunzel learning how to become a good queen.

At first, I was surprised that enrolados was getting a TV show. Even though I quite like the original movie, I didn't think there was any mais story to be told. I'm happy to say that I was wrong! But on the other hand, there's a lot of stuff in this show that I'm not fond of. I've watched every episode to encontro, data and my opinion of this show has gone up and down. I actually think the best way to talk about this is to break this (spoiler-free!) review into three sections: the good, the bad, and the OK.

Oh it's been so long
Sup! Some of y'all may not even know who I am and some of Y'all may remember me (I was a jerk and I want to say I'm sorry and I want to fix any relationships and try to become friends). But I'm princecatcher93 or Linnea. It's been about a few years since I was last here and last time I was here, Moana wasn't out yet (God it has been so long) so I have an updated ranking list (do people still do these?!?). I don't remember my old order but who cares! This is all personal so my reasons may seem strange to you but I'm a strange person.

14) Anna

Yep, three years and I still don't really like her, now with mais shorts to add on with her personality, I just get bored por her, she just seems like a lot of the cutie I'm awkward and that's it type of girl.

13) Elsa

Maybe they switched places I don't know any mais or care. Elsa hasn't really grown on me either since the movie came out but she just seems to be there in many things now to sing a cool song and wave her hands and then just stand back. She's kind of like a big name actress in like a comedy movie, there for one scene and then gone! Maybe The...

I haven't seen an artigo like this yet done before.

I amor browsing through old fanpop artigos and leitura other people's favorito disney Princess lists. One thing I realized is that leitura why someone else loves their favorito princess makes me amor that princess even more! So I thought, why not combine all of these positive opinions together, like a convenient one-stop shop? All heard from their #1 favorito fãs themselves.

The way I did this was snooping through old fanpop and pulling out passages from each person's article. Tbh I'm not sure if I'm even allowed to do this?

Sorry if I didn't include yours. It's probably because I couldn't find your artigo or I just forgot. I might editar this later and add mais people's blurbs in here.

After I watched the first 7 seasons of My Little pónei, pônei Friendship is Magic I started listening to the songs on repeat whenever I felt like it and there are songs from that show that had me thinking of some of the princesses and some of the characters in the movies. Here's a list of the songs, which characters the songs reminded me of, and why.

Song: arco iris, arco-íris from My Little pónei, pônei the Movie
Character: All the princesses

This song is actually mostly for a character in the movie who was a villain but then reformed which isn't what happened to any of the princesses (except maybe Elsa, though while not a villain she did some things in Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante that she regretted). However, like the villain in the movie almost all the princesses had to endure something painful (Snow White and cinderela forced to be servants, Ariel losing her collection, Aurora finding out her life is a lie, Belle losing her freedom, jasmim thinking someone died because of her, Tiana losing her dream restaurant, and Rapunzel locked up her whole life).

Years ago, I did an artigo about some fan-made grandchildren of Triton, excluding Melody, of course. However, I was going off the touro crap logic and "continuity" of the terrible prequel, The Little Mermaid 3: Ariel's Beginning. Instead, I'm going to be basing this off the personalities I've given the daughters of Triton in another artigo I did, which includes the age order of Aquata being the oldest daughter of Triton. I take into account the TV series, like I did with Arista's personality and Adella's design, because it is a faithful and worthy prequel to The Little Mermaid. The way this is going to work is that I will talk about the oldest daughter of Triton's children first and go in order of age of the daughter of Triton instead of por age of the grandchild so that no one gets confused about which child belongs to which of Ariel's sisters. Along with this, I will be including a fan-made son of Ariel and Eric at the end. Melody won't be included because she's an already existing character with an established personality and I'm doing this over fan-made characters and telling you the personalities I created for them. Some siblings will be included in one picture just because I...

Hi guys, I am currently watching a scene from The cisne Lake ballet. I actually notice a number of similarities between the popular ballet and Disney's retelling of The Little Mermaid. Since some Ballet Company has tragic endings, I will also cover on the original Hans Christian Anderson's novel in this article!

The Story

Both stories revolve around 2 young heroines and how they meet their fate, Odette is actually a young girl who was suddenly turn into a cisne upon meeting Rothbart, the evil sorcerer.
Now upon seeing this, it reminded me of when Ursula turns Ariel a human after she storms out of her destroyed grotto por her father. Prompting the latter to regret his mistakes later on.
Another interesting scene that I would like to point out is when Vanessa hypnotises Eric to marry him, this particular scene reminds me of when Odile, Rothbath's sister who has an uncanny resemblance to Odette fools Prince Siegfried during the ball scene.

Hello Sissi!
Hi guys, I know that you guys want another princess with Brunette hair. So, here are my suggestions and my reason why.

1) Empress Elisabeth of Austria-Hungary (Sissi)

I first found her during my holiday in Vienna, Austria. Her life fascinates me and the most famous movie about her is the Sissi Trilogy featuring the Austrian actress name Romy Scneider, go check this film out!

2) Kate Middleton

She is another possible choice for a future disney Princess who is a brunette. Her movie will be on how she met Prince William leading up to the Royal Wedding.

3) queen Victoria

The movie maybe base on the 2009 film, The Young Victoria. Leading up to her relationship with her children, especially the future King Edward VII.

Any Brunette Favourites?

So, here are my 3 choices for a brunette disney Princess. Do you have anymore suggestions? If so, please comment them on the comment box!

I got this idea from KataraLover after a long time of wondering what to write about. It was actually very easy to assign you all to these characters. I only have one, maybe two users for each princess so don’t feel bad if you’re not on here, we haven’t been very active lately on fanpop anyway. Anyway, on with the list!

1. Snow White

MalloMar - I’ve only just recently gotten to know her on here, but she’s really sweet and kind. I like her way of composição literária and can always appreciate her optimism so far. I’m looking progressivo, para a frente to getting to know you better!

2. Cinderella

Sparklefairy375 - She’s really kind and generally sweet and level headed girl. A lot of the time when I see her comments she reminds me of what Snow White would say in this situation, whether it’s to keep the peace or something really pleasant and nice to say. I also think that Sparklefairy has a good sense of right and wrong and doesn’t let the bad things bother her. She speaks her mind and is always kind to others. I don’t know if anybody else does this...

estrela borboleta is the estrela of a disney animated show called estrela vs. the Forces of Evil. estrela is my favorito disney princess despite not being a part of the official disney princess lineup.

1. disney princesses have been accused of not being able to fight for herself, but no princess kicks mais butt than Star. She has defeated Ludo and his henchmen several times. Marco often helps her, but he's mais of a sidekick to her than her knight in shining armor.

2. estrela is easily the funniest disney princess. Her and the show have a unique style of humor that makes it stand out. The only disney princess that's regularly funny that I can think of is Anna, but estrela is much funnier. Star's a lot mais eccentric and fun than any other disney princess.

3. When it comes to visuals most disney princesses are made to look beautiful, but I much prefer Star's unique design. She's a teenager and a comedic action hero so they didn't try to make her pretty. Instead they gave her a creative costume and a memorable look that makes her stand out.
