Princess Lineup (as of Dec. 2013)
Hello, and welcome to my segundo article! I am ApplesauceDoctr, and today I shall discuss the redesigns of the disney Princesses made earlier this year. There have been some major changes, including new hairstyles, new dresses, and of course, a ton of sparkles. How do their new designs stack up to their original DP designs? Let's find out!

I won't be evaluating these por how accurate the redesigns look to the actual character to the movie; this will evaluate how the redesign looks in comparison to the anterior DP design. If that doesn't make sense, let's just begin and you'll get the hang of it. ;D

Merida won't be included in this countdown because although she lacks much resemblance to her original character, she is a new addition and we have yet to see her DP character redesigned.

10. Cinderella
Cinderella's redesign was probably the most altered of all the princesses. Her hairstyle has changed - instead of that strange updo she had originally, it looks like a mais realistic bun and she has one loose strand of hair. Her dress has gone from a pale blue/light blue to a very BRIGHT shade of blue. It is accompanied por embroidery...

So, I just finished watching Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, because I plan in rewatching all disney Princess filmes in order. I'll also write a review for each after I watch it - except Frozen, maybe, since I already did, but I may write a comparision about what changed in my opinions.

I'll also try giving each part (plot, music, etc.) a score, but I warn you I can't be too harsh.

Without further ado, ladies and gentlemen, the fairest one of all: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

The Plot:

I see almost no problems with the plot. in addition to being concise, it's charming and captures the viewer's attention. It's just like a fairytale coming alive in the screen. Of course, I said "I see almost no problems with the plot".

There are filler scenes. But they aren't bad. I thought I would be bored and annoyed when the dwarfs enter the house, but it kept my attention in the screen - it's very funny. I also like the washing scene, except the thing with Dopey swallowing the soap - but gladly that was short. But the fact I like then...

one of Disney's most realistic leading ladies
So yeah, there's gonna be spoilers, so if you haven't watched it I recommend leaving now. BYE! Anyway, in this review I'll go over the characters, soundtrack, animation, and story line. This review is probably gonna be really positive since I absolutely loved the movie, but I'll try and keep a level head and give some of the bad points in this review as well. So lets get started!

The Characters

Let's start off with the most important thing to me, the characters. A movie's plot can be terrible, but if I'm with a great character during that time, I can endure it, and Frozen's characters definitely don't disappoint.
Anna: I can definitely see the similarities between Anna and Rapunzel; both have big highs, and low lows (more so with Rapunzel), and both are crazy (more so with Anna) Although I feel that Anna is a pretty original character. She's very organic, and is probably one of the most human characters disney has ever produced; she has quirks, like for example always sliding around the castelo in her socks, and she is awkward and lovable. At times annoying, she can be too much, but I amor her spunk and attitude.

All of the princesses have amazing hair. But who has the best hair? It's hard to decide, but here is my list.

13.) Snow White
Sorry Snow but your hair is not very amazing. I like that its curly but its too short. It doesn't look awesome blowing in the wind because its so short. If it were longer you would be higher on the list.

12.) Tiana
I don't really like Tiana's hair. Its messy and always in a bun or ponytail. I do like her curls but I wish she would let her hair down, both literally and figuratively. Her hair is not very exciting.

11.) Cinderella
Her hair has no body or bounce to it. Its sort of flat and is no geral, global not that amazing. Maybe if her hair was longer and less oddly shaped it would look better.

10.) Mulan
I like Mulan's hair. Its long, black and looks so silky and smooth. It frames her face nicely when its long. When she cuts it it loses its magic. It then becomes to short and squarish.

As you all know, the link to watch Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante online was posted in the club's mural por dclairmont (who got this link through Safira-09), allowing me and much mais others to watch the movie (thanks god, because if it wasn't for that link I would be probably the last person in this club to watch it). Now, after I have watched the movie, I'm going to review it.

*SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS*

Don't say you weren't warned.

The Plot

The film didn't start very well. There were boring opening credits with people cantar only one word. Really, I'm the only one reminded of "The Lion King" por it? Now, after it was the equally boring opening sequence, with some men doing something with ice and cantar ("Frozen Heart").

Then we're transported to the Palace of Arendelle, Elsa's room. Now, things start to become interesting. Yes, from now on, it's an amazing, touching movie. That's all I'm going to say here, because, really, you watched the movie.

Eventually I will make a list ranking all the princesses, but for now, here are my 3 absolute favorites, what makes them different and why I amor them so much!

Jasmine
Obviously jasmim stands out from all the other princesses for her unique and sassy personality, but this is just one of many reasons I like her. She has no interest in the rich princes that attempt to court her, she knows who she is and she doesn't need a man to complete her. She looks past the fact that aladdin is a poor misfit (with bad hygiene, let’s be honest) and loves him for who he is, much like Belle learns to amor the beast. jasmim also strikes me as the smartest of the princesses. She quickly figures out who “Prince Ali” really is, and when captured por Jafar, she is charming and resourceful when she attempts to help Aladdin. Of all the princesses, I believe jasmim has the strongest sense of self – she seems to be very confident and know exactly who she is, and while I may not exactly be able to relate to this, it is definitely something I respect and admire.

You won't see anything like this here.
Welcome to another Silverrose1991's favoritos countdown. Today we will be reviewing Cinderella's outfits. Silverrose1991 would like to remind you that all characters mentioned in this artigo are owned por disney and all outfits in this countdown can be found in Walt Disney's Cinderella.

Let's get started.

6. Light blue nightgown

This outfit is cute and lady-like, but old-fashioned. I'm pretty sure Lady Tremaine just gave cinderela the worst nightgown in the house to wear, so it musn't be very comfortable, either. I like the neckline with the bow and the color isn't all that bad, but dull.

5. Ripped pink-and-white dress

These. are. rags. They're not supposed to be cute, or charming or even feminine. So why are they ranking above the nightgown? The thing is - cinderela can look good in everything. She can pull this outfit out. And I like the shoes.

13) Merida- Before you all roll your eyes, I have to admit that when I saw the first commercial for Valente I was so excited and forced my boyfriend to take me to it the dia after it came out. I amor her hair and how generally courageous she was. First of all, I really disliked Brave. Its story held a number of plotholes, and Merida was quite a selfish character, to me. She whines for the majority of her film, and acts like an unrelatable goofball for the other half. Who would risk their mother's life just to "change their fate". This wasn't like Ariel, who made a gamble on her own life and Merida didn't even know what the outcome would be. And why doesn't she sing!! I'm very disappointed in her character, but on a good note, I really amor her hair :).

12) Snow White- Snow White, the first disney Princess. Being the first, she worked out some of the kinks when making way for the other disney Princesses. One reason I don't like her is because I really don't relate to her, because her target audience was a generation that I don't belong to. People complain a lot about her cantar voice, and it's strange to me too, but her voice was actually popular for the the time period...

EDIT: Since I watched Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante thanks to the amazing dclairmont and the equally amazing Safira-09, I decided to include Elsa and Anna in this list.

Hello, hello. Welcome to my first countdown. Today, my pupils, we're going to read "Silverrose1991's Prettiest Princess". Before we start, silverrose1991 wants to remind you that all characters mentioned in this artigo are owned por Disney.

Let's get started.

13. Rapunzel

Rapunzel is cute. Not beautiful, but plain and pretty in a childlike way. Her seventy-feet long golden hair is her best feature, but the freckles in her face are a very nice touch too. I don't mind her big eyes, but her teeth are weird. Overall, she is nice-looking, but not as some of the other princesses.

12. Mulan

mulan is not particulary famous or admired for her beauty, although it's here. It hurts me to rank her this low, because she is beautiful, but the others are more. I like her eyes and hair and she looks stunning in her matchmaker esemble. Her lips, however, are kind of plain when not wearing lipstick.

I have been on here for a while but this is my first article. I am a big fã of disney , especially the princesses.I enjoyed all the new princess filmes and was happy ever since Princess and the Frog. However Princess and the Frog, Tangled, and Valente I sat there enjoying it but thinking this is nothing compared to the filmes of my childhood and would never topo, início my favourites Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, and Beauty and the Beast. I thought maybe it was because I am not a child any mais and I am not growing up with these new movies. However when I saw Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante I automatically fell in amor with the movie in the first couple minutos of the film. I think what I liked so much was it wasn't trying to be a classic. There is never going to be another Renaissance they way it was or the old fashion films of the days when Walt alongside creating the magic. I feel Princess and the Frog and especially Tangled. I remember sitting through enrolados being like this is so cute but half of these moments I feel i have already seen before. Valente was different formula but it was pixar and although I appreciated the single woman with true amor not driving the story and the mother daughter issue. To me Pixar...

As you can probably tell from the title, this is a collab article! As you can also probably tell from the title, this is a collab artigo between disneygirl7 and princecatcher93. Me and princecatcher93 have written a collab artigo on our favourite couples. I did my pictures and princecatcher93 made her own pictures. Please remember that this is our own opinions, so it's absolutely fine to disagree, as long as you don't be rude. Warning: We did include Anna and Kristoff, so there could be possible spoilers. (Depends how much you know or whether or not you have seen the movie.) Enjoy! :)

#11

princecatcher93: Pocahontas and John Smith
I really didn't enjoy this couple in fact they kind of wreaked the movie for me, it was like they're trying hard to be a couple yet fail to be one por the end of the movie and their one of the few couples that have time to grow with each other.

Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante Movie Review!
Hi everyone! I stumbled upon the disney Princess page while I was leitura movie reviews for Frozen. I absolutely amor disney and enjoyed leitura the artigos posted por other members, and I wanted to write my opinion on how Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante compares to the other disney Princess films, its faults, and where it succeeds.

I broke the review up into 3 sections: Music, Story & Characters.

Music
Unfortunately, like Princess and the Frog, I believe Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante only really had one stand out song (“Let it Go”), the rest weren’t particularly enjoyable or memorable. “In Summer” and “Fixer Upper” were like “Under the Sea” or “Be Our Guest” in the way that they didn’t do much to advance the plot. The difference is that the latter songs stand the test of time, while the Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante songs just seemed like filler. I found “First time in forever” a lyrically weak song (“The window is open, so is that door!”) where she is just narrating pointless things (although it was humorous latter on)., “Love is an open door” (the song between the amor interests) doesn’t compare with songs...

I had my list perfectly figured out. Then I saw Frozen. Now it has changed again. It's harder now than it was before to place everyone, especially after deciding I amor both Anna and Elsa in addition to all my older favorites. My list could still change again after I think about it even more, but for now here it is.
13. Snow White
Well she dropped back to last again after moving up an impressive two places. (She's always been low on my list.) She just kind of annoys me with her high pitched voice and I've just never been drawn to her like the other princesses. I really don't like her hair either.

12. Tiana
She's went from dead last to seguinte to last. I find her boring, too realistic and too serious. I amor watching fairy tales as mais of an escape from the problems of my everyday life and she's just to close to real life for my liking. I like that she's dedicated and has a goal that she's working towards but she just doesn't captivate me.

11. Pocahontas

The Current Princesses
With 11 official disney Princess and two mais to cadastrar-se in the upcoming year, I've decided to create a countdown of my topo, início 11 favorito disney Princesses. While Anna and Elsa will cadastrar-se in 2014, I'm just going to focus on the ones we currently have - besides, I've only seen Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante once. So without further ado, let's begin!

ApplesauceDoctr's favorito disney Princesses

11. Aurora
While Sleeping Beauty was one of my favorito filmes from childhood, Aurora herself never truly stood out to me. In her short runtime she walks around the forest and sings - and even though she has a beautiful voice, there's not much else for me to say about her. Even when she's on screen I get rather bored. It's unfortunate for the lovely Aurora that she isn't given much time in her own movie, and that really brings her down this list.

10. Pocahontas
Pocahontas just isn't my favorito movie nor do I find her to be interesting. She's fun in the first half or so of the movie when she's running around, kayaking and cantar about the as cores of the wind. I admire her bravery in the climax - and you all know...

Hi, everyone! As promised, I made an artigo of my favourite Princesses after seeing Frozen. Although they are not technically disney Princesses yet. This is completely spoiler free, since I'm just going to talk about their personality and not the movie. So, please enjoy and remember that this is my own opinion, so it's totally cool to disagree, as long as you're not rude.

#13: mulan (Previously 5)
OMGOMGOMG!! I feel like I just blew everyone's mind por putting Fanpop's most popular Princess... last. Maybe I didn't, and you expected this because I have said before that all mulan has ever done on my list is drop. I'm sorry, she's great and I think she's amazing, but she just doesn't have an no geral, global charm that draws me to her. And she surprisingly saved my segundo last place from being last, even though for so many weeks I had thought she was going to be last.

#12: Elsa (New Addition)
Am I an Elsa hater? No... Do I hate Elsa? Yes... How does that make any sense? The thing is, although I hate Elsa's personality, I think she was a great character. I especially loved her when she was a kid, but as...

Frozen movie poster
Frozen, the latest disney Princess movie that was claimed to have been the best movie since The Lion King. Does it hold it up as a disney Classic?

The Princess and the Frog was released in 2009, in an effort to restore the disney Animation Company's reputation. In this movie they went back to their own roots, using a fairy tale revolving around a princess, who receives her Prince Charming in the end, and sings catchy tunes along the way. Notable differences from the other filmes included an African American protagonist (Disney's first!) and a modern setting (New Orleans, Louisiana). Although critics generally liked it, they said it lacked the spunk and vibrancy of the earlier disney films, and criticized the música for lacking in variety. A cute little charmer in its own right, The Princess and the Frog did not do as well in the box office as they had hoped.

In 2010, disney Animation made a segundo attempt to return to the Company's former glory, with Tangled. They wanted to make it noticeably different from their last movie because it didn't do as well as they had hoped. They decided to scrap the hand-drawn animation and created their...

My no. 1 favourites!!!!
Hi guys, this is the third time that I'm composição literária a movie review, and I'm going to write about the latest DP movie Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante in which I went to see it on the big screen with my younger autistic brother finally!
Firstly the movie initiates with a great introduction to Scandinavian culture (in particularly Finland) and I'm amaze por the scenery too, the setting reminds me of enrolados that it makes me want to go to Scandinavia now!
Ok, let's mover on to the characters, Elsa is really an unique character in a way as she tries to hide her super powers secret from her beloved sister Anna. She also a special relationship with her and especially during the first songs and when they grow up too. When she sings 'Let it Go', I was really amazed por Idina's cantar that she blew it away!
Anna is another amazing character and I had a hard time that she looks like Rapunzel initially, but she's not like the latter, and Kristoff is another unpredictable character and when Anna meets him for the first time. It was a funny moment that I swear, I died laughing in cinema!

Alright this is mais of a rant than anything because "Enchanted" is one of my favorito filmes and I cannot believe she isn't in the line up or is thought of as a disney Princess. And I know the movie is making fun of the stereotypical princess when she meets the real world but there are so many allusions to the movie, especially The Little Mermaid in a lot of them. BUT ANYWHO let's get started.
The usual reason disney deems a character a disney Princess is usually because they are the heroine of the movie and have a few musical numbers where said heroine sings in. They also are very beautiful and set up as an ícone where young girls can see them as role modelos and then the corporate part of disney can market it. They make dresses for little girls, backpacks/lunchboxes with their faces on them, and toys they'll amor for a little less than a mês and then buy a new product. You guys get it.
Where Giselle comes in is she fits nearly all of these categories and more! The only thing she doesn't fit is being an princess. And I don't want to say it (ok I really do) BUT HELLO NEITHER IS MULAN. I'm just sayin'. And Merida breaks nearly ALL rules as to being a "Disney" princess...

Least favorite? Am I leitura that right? If that's what's going through your mind, then you are not crazy, it really does say that. Your seguinte pergunta may be, why would you be so negative? Why not just say favorito disney Princesses? Well, that's because I've come to notice that the majority of the artigos in the club (mine included) often sugarcoat our opinions, and aren't nearly as critical as they really are. We usually try and be kind when expressing our opinions which is definitely an important thing, but I thought it'd be unique to only talk about the negative traits of the disney Princesses, even my favorites. Disclaimer: I'm going to be blatantly honest, and quite rude, so please don't be offended if I bash your favorite. I'm also gonna exaggerate my opinions a bit, so if I call a princess annoying please don't be offended because I honestly do amor every last one of them. So anyway lets get started!

11. Belle

Belle tries to be too many things in my opinion. People often accuse Rapunzel as being a mixture of all the other princesses, but I feel Belle falls into this category more. Belle is sweet and caring like the Classic...

Decided to do an artigo like this too, I've actually been wanting to do this for a long time, but I thought it was hard to do, well it was hard even now to do this list because I think Snow White is the type of princess that would get along well with the other princesses, but anyway hope you'll like this artigo :)

10. Merida

If we're basing it on Merida's personality in the end of the movie she would be placed slightly higher on this list since she's mais like Snow White at that point, but now I based it on her personality during most of the time in the movie and that is what puts her at last place, but like I said Snow White would like Merida anyway even though Merida would get on her nerves since Merida has mais of a temper unlike Snow White who is optimistic. They differ from each other in many other ways, but Snow White would like Merida anyway

9. Jasmine

These two are quite different from each other, but I think Snow White would like jasmim anyway, but like with Merida she would have a hard time accepting Jasmine's temper. She also wouldn't like that jasmim ran away from the palace...

I don't want this, but I will accept my duty as a princess and do what is right
I've read a few of these artigos and thought I would do one for Jasmine, my favorito princess. So here it goes.
10. Aurora
jasmim would have the least in common with Aurora. She would relate to her in the way that Aurora doesn't want to be a princess, she would rather be free to live her own life and marry whoever she wants rather than be told she must marry a prince. She would like that Aurora is kind and dreamy but the similarities end there. Whereas Aurora accepted her duty as a princess with a heavy coração and did what she knew was right for her people por marrying her betrothed, jasmim would rebel and refuse to be told who she would marry. She would find Aurora much too passive and obedient.

9. Tiana
jasmim would admire Tiana's determination in achieving her dream to open her own restaurant. She would however, find her too serious and boring because she never takes time out to have fun or take time for herself.

8. Cinderella
jasmim would like Cinderella's sarcastic side and find her clever for reminding her stepmother that everyone in the kingdom must attend the ball and would really amor the moment when cinderela says...

I've been a part of this fanclub for a while, and it's my favorito club on Fanpop, so I want to share with anyone willing to read, my disney Princess list. A lot of factors take place during their list including, personality, style and enjoyment of their feature films. This is my opinion so please don't be offended por anything. Also note, that I don't HATE any disney Princess. I do hold all of them dear to me, even if I complain about them.

First Renaissance movie
This is the fourth of a set of reviews and analyses that I will be doing on each disney Princess movie. I will try to be as unbiased and analytical as possible. I watch the movie so that it is fresh in my mind, and review 10 categories: the princess, the prince, the couple, the villain, other characters, the plot, animation, songs, score, and mood. I then give each category a score out of 10, then the movie as a whole receives a total score out of 100. All categories contribute equally to the final score.

Princess – Ariel
Ariel is the first of many non-stereotypical princesses; she is often the rescuer rather than the damsel in distress. She is a Valente and heroic princess, the first of many. Being a mais modern teenager, she has many teenage qualities we would consider stereotypical; headstrong, stubborn, secretive, private, and determined, to name a few. She is also a misfit among the merpeople, as she is the only one with a fascination for the world above the surface. She is a free spirit, but also dreamy and childish at times. She is clever, especially under pressure, although she doesn’t give important decisions enough thought....

Okay, I just want to settle some stuff about the vicinity of where Pocahontas is claimed to have live not only in the movie, but in reality too. We all know the inaccuracies of the movie, but for those who do not know, here you go (: And please remember to feel free to state your opinion on where she lived or any other info you have.

In the movie, Governor Ratcliffe obviously states his ship is headed towards Virginia, and it clearly shows that Virginia is the destination on the map. But let it be noted that in 1608, when the movie supposedly takes place, people referred to a majority of the New World as Virginia, not just the state we think of today. But it so happens that she is from Virginia.

It is pretty obvious that she is from a coastal area, considering the ship John Smith travels on comes right through. Many people think West Virginia is where Pocahontas originated, but I do not see an ocean por West Virginia.

Many people wonder how any of where Pocahontas was from, born, and even the John Smith situation got documented. It was actually documented por John Smith himself in his documentary, "Generall Historie." That is...

All 11 Disney Princesses
I have been wanting to do this artigo for months, and I finally have my list sorted out. I decided I am going to do one now, and then an updated one in a few weeks with Anna and Elsa in it. Hope you like it. :)

Numbers 10-9 are the princesses I simply like.

10. Tiana (Previously: 10)

I like Tiana, she's everything I should want to be. She's a perfect role model. She's mature, hard-working, dutiful, sensible, practical, everything I'm not. I really admire her determination and her bravery, but it ends there. I can't really connect with her at all, which makes me uninterested in her.

09. Snow White (Previously: 9)

Sometimes I really like Snow, sometimes I get bored with her. She has some nostalgia for me, I was a big fã of the Classic girls when I was little. I amor how she's kind, motherly, and a little bossy, but she still has some childlike qualities to her. She's nice to everyone and ultra-friendly, which sometimes get's a little annoying when you mix it with my sarcastic and occasionally standoffish personality. I think Snow is one of the mais beautiful princesses, and she's probably in my topo, início 5 now on that...
