I, myself only knew 8 out of 24. Who knows, you might know mais than me or know less than me. Either way enjoy leitura and absorb the knowledge!

Trivia

1) Art director Brian McEntee color-keyed Belle so that she is the only person in her town who wears blue. This is symbolic of how different she is from everyone else around. Later, she encounters the Beast, another misfit, also wearing blue and with blue eyes. It symbolized good in the film whereas red symbolized evil (the color of Gaston's camisa is red). A notable exception to this code is Gaston's blue eyes - making him the only disney villain to have eyes the same color as the protagonist's.

2) When Paige O'Hara was auditioning, a bit of her hair flew in her face and she tucked it back. The animators liked this so they put it in the movie.

3) In the first song, where Belle sings in the town, she sits por a fountain. As she reads the book (described earlier as an adventure with a prince in disguise which sounds just like Beauty and the Beast), she flips to a page with a picture. Look closely, and you will see see that she is in the bottom right, the beast in the middle...

I, myself only knew 7 out of 14. Who knows, you might know mais than me or know less than me. Either way enjoy leitura and absorb the knowledge!

Trivia

1) Production designer Richard Vander Wende devised a simple color scheme for the film, inspired por its desert setting. Blue (water) stands for good, red (heat) for evil, and yellow (sand) is neutral. For example, the villainous Jafar is clad in blacks and reds, while the virtuous jasmim wears blue. Another example is in the Cave of Wonders, where the lamp's chamber is blue, and the ruby that tempts Abu is bright red.

2) jasmim was originally supposed to be a bit mais active. At one point, she was supposed to confront the Sultan and angrily declare "We have to talk", but the animators nixed it because it would have meant designing an entirely new room for that talk so were forced to fall back on showing jasmim crying instead (which made them cringe). Also, when jasmim was trapped in the hourglass, she was supposed to use the jewel in her capacete to cut herself free, but this was changed to a last-minute rescue por Aladdin. jasmim was also going to be a spoiled brat who...

I really think he loses it, here... Raging at a person is not explaining to a person your personal view.
Triton is one of those dads in disney that absolutely makes me squirm. I don’t amor him, and I don’t hate him. But I do find him extremely unnerving, and on the same plane of Mother Gothel upsetting. He clearly alternates between being “nice” only sometimes, and then being really “explosively nasty” at other periods. King Triton’s rule is a patriarchy. I think his abusive tendencies, though, stem from insecurities he has within himself. Triton is afraid of the unknown. He's also afraid of not appearing “manly” enough. ( Bizarrely, this also makes me think of Prince Adam and Gaston, who are also both afraid of not “looking like men” in front of women). Anyway, Triton shares the trait of “trying to look manly” with his adviser, Sebastian, since both males tend to view females as lesser individuals, and needing “constant supervision.” Triton seems to believe that in order to be a successful ruler and father “he must maintain control of the situation” at all times.
This is something that has always bothered me about him. In fact, the very first time we are introduced to Triton in the original movie, he is...

Okay so some of you might have read link. At the time, it seemed to me like there was a group of very intolerant users who would only be offended if I wrote such an article. (Weird, I know, since many people write this artigo but I still didn't want the tension or drama.) Since I wasn't sure how to write a "physically beautiful" list without offending anyone, I didn't write that artigo and wrote one that I thought had better ideals: an no geral, global attraction with looks, personality and demeanor combined. That being said, I do amor the fairy tale versions of Princesses who were always the "most fairest maiden in all of the land" and I am a bit saddened/disappointed that disney seems to somewhat be going away from that. A very talented writer/user on this site (anukriti2409) did their own link lately and it was done so beautifully that it inspired me to go ahead and give this artigo a try. So in...

So I amor Disneyland and Disneyworld and I amor their Princess-themed attractions. That being said, I always thought it would be really cool if there were mais things at the park pertaining specifically to the Princesses as I am a huge fan! <3 So I thought I'd try to see if I could figure out some form of new attraction (ride, shop, restaurant, etc.) for each DP film. I hope you guys enjoy!

PROPS to link for inspiring me to do this artigo with one of her link

1. Snow White's Scary Forest
I thought this would be an annual Dia das bruxas event. Something to get the kids ready for the scary walk throughs they will amor as teenagers and young adults. :) It can even end with the eyes and the animais to make the ending a bit softer for children.

Rapunzel, anna, and ariel
Did you ever know that Elsa and Anna had a cousin? Well you do now! Elsa and Anna have a cousin and there cousin is Rapunzel. Never knew that? Now you know. Rapunzel is cousins with the sisters Elsa and Anna. Rapunzel seems like she forgot she had cousins. I am not sure about Elsa and Anna if they forgot they had a cousin. How are they cousins? Elsa and Anna's mom is the sister of Rapunzel's mom. Now they are Cousins. Another weird thing. Both shows are created por the same person. I never knew they were cousins till I saw a YouTube show that said they were cousins. Another weird thing. Ariel had something to do with this. Ariel and her family were at the surface. Elsa and Anna's parents went to go to Rapunzel's wedding. You remember the storm there was? It was created por Ariel's dad cause he was mad that the ship killed Ariel's mom. All this is true. You could not believe this, but it all is true. Elsa and Anna are cousins with Rapunzel and Ariel had to do with all this, though she was not created por the same person of Rapunzel and Elsa and Anna. Now you know all this stuff. They are cousins. Now you know.

Honorary Mention: Cinderella's Father
Okay so I basically grew up without parents in a large sense. That being said, I always yearned for a loving, stable and consistent mother and father to teach morals, values, effective and constructive communication, consequences for actions, real love, respect, trust, honor, etc. Since Walt disney founded the company under those family and character-based values, I have always been very attached to the disney brand. That being said, I was thinking about the disney Princesses' parents and if I could have traded my childhood situation with one of them, which would it be? Since I also amor lists and ranking systems, I thought I'd rank all of the início situations/parents in terms of which I'd like to have had most instead of what I had. I know that children statistically have the best chances when they have a mother and father in the início and I have too often seen the effects of being raised por single parents. So for those reasons, I tend to prefer two-parent households to one and that will no doubt be reflected in my countdown. This doesn't mean that I don't have respect and adoration for the widowed parents but rather that I already did the 1 parent thing and frankly, it sucked and...

Here's my list of disney Princess couples, it's primarily based on what connected with me in their relationship and what i find admirable. I do have some ifs and buts with few couples but that's just my way of looking at how a relationship grow

1. mulan and Shang:
Theirs a relation that I actually look up to with great admiration and respect. They both were mature to handle a relationship before falling for each other. Their amor grew out of mutual trust, understanding and respect rather than romantic feelings. It is to not say that romantic feelings are not true or valuable, it's my personal opinion that while romance over the time diminishes and eventually trust, respect and understanding becomes the core of relationship, on which true amor can be nurtured. I also amor how they gain each other's trust and respect por their actions mais than their words.
I amor how they talk about their differences without hurting each other's feelings and how they can respect each other's opinions while upholding their own. I cannot help but simply put their relation on a pedestal of perfection.

I got inspired por laylastepford's link about which American Cities the disney Princesses would live in and as I'm from Sweden I decided to write an artigo about which Swedish Towns (since most falls into that category, only a few falls into the "city" category) each disney Princesses would live in, it's hard to identify each town's personality so I based it on mostly other aspects. I haven't been to all these towns so I'm just basing on what I know about each town

Snow White: Alingsås

This town lays only about 30 minutos train ride from Gothenburg and from what I've read and seen off the town it seems perfect for Snow White, it seems like a cute little town, it's mostly known for it's cafes and Snow White is good at baking so this would be the perfect place to start a cafe of her own. This town also has a lot of villas which adds even mais to the small town touch. It's also as far as I know a pretty seguro town and like I stated it's not so far away from Gothenburg

Vincent Van Gogh's Japonaiserie After Hiroshige (1887)
I amor art! I amor culture, history, música and I amor art. I have done some posts and pesquisas about the disney Princesses in reference to music, culture and fashion but not art yet so I thought I would do that next. I like to think of the disney Princesses as "cultured" young women who have manners, etiquette, decent universal knowledge and appreciation for the arts. So, in my theory of the disney Princesses being cultured, albeit each at their own levels, here are the paintings that I think each disney Princess would amor the most. (I could probably find a furgão, van Gogh for each of them as I absolutely amor and adore his work but I tried to keep it mais spread out.)

The "article" picture in the topo, início right is one of my personal favorites, Vincent furgão, van Gogh's Japonaiserie After Hiroshige (1887). As some of you may know, I am highly mixed Japanese and there is so much I amor about Japanese culture. I really amor the Japanese style here along with the character symbols and I amor the use of the colors. I think the little flores are gorgeous and this painting is no geral, global stunning.

Shop til you drop ladies!
I amor shopping! It's one of my favourite hobbies. I once did this for a poll, a couple of years ago. I thought I'd take it a step further. So this is completely in my opinion. This about choosing shops that match their personalities and other little details about them like how they decorate a início or what their hobbies are for example. The shops that I've chosen are the ones I visit, have walked past, visited online or have actually shopped in.

Updated; I realised I put up the wrong picture for Cinderella's first pick. I wanted to add something about Cinderella's segundo pick that my mum pointed out. I wasn't happy with Aurora's picks, so she just has one now but I'm happier with it.

Snow White

The comprar fits Snow White's personality perfectly.
Nobody loves ironing, but back in 1993, one dull, grey ironing board sparked an idea. Cath Kidston wanted to brighten up everyone's day. Inspired por nostalgic childhood memories of vintage England, Cath started designing her own brightly coloured patterns, applying them to modern, practical products. So as some of you may have read, and if not then I highly recommend(!), my link. In that article, I mentioned a website called link which helped me a lot with understanding dominant characteristics relative to seasons. This site also provided a little Fashion Style Quiz! So, I couldn't help myself but to try and put myself in each of the DP's shoes and take the teste for each DP to see what style they'd get. I humbly do believe the results came out fairly accurate but I'd amor to hear what you guys think!

I listed each disney Princess in accordance with their dominant fashion persona. They all had mixed results which is represented in my results but for category-sake, I grouped them based on the dominant fashion style. I also provided a sample outfit that I created which I think represents their "modern" style if they had one. I also put it in their "power colors" based on their Color Season. :D

After seeing Sweetie94's prettiest disney princess list, I wanted to make one of mine as well. I'm not really a fã of the beauty of modern princesses, I find them rather too doll types, somehow. So they are all ranking low on my list. Hope you'll enjoy it, here it goes:

13. Elsa:
Eh, are her eyes for real? Way too big on her face and her lips are so thin. She does have that barbie doll kind of look to her. She has an unbalanced face proportion, her upper portion of face is too big as compared to the lower portion and that gives her an unnatural look, imo. I quite like her hair though, snow blonde, if that's any word to describe it.

12. Snow:
She has too rounded a face with all features in round shape, eyebrows is practically a line with a nose that gives a hint of button and eyes are also roundish. I like her lips, full and red. She does have that baby face that makes her look cute rather than pretty as such. Her skin tone is way too white for me to like. Not a really great fã of her smile, her eyes squint too much when she smiles. There's no depth in her face but maybe that's animation. I like her hair...

Here's my quick top10 favoritos of disney Princess movie songs. I get stuck to a new tune or lyrics far easily, if its hummable and peppy especially. I like listening to songs and don't have particular fixed tastes in genres. Though i find, i tend to gravitate towards pop, rock and Indian music. Very rarely I enjoy classical music, although some that I amor become my all time favoritos and they don't die-out. I guess that's how classic música is. Anyways, this is my current list of topo, início 10 favrorites songs from DP movies, it keeps changing for sure as I mover onto newer songs.

10. I see the light:
I have recently taking a liking to this song. Its sweet and have such pleasant romance in it that it makes me sigh. I amor the lyrics, they kinda feel personal to my story with my husband. Chorus is just fabulous, I simply amor the lines "And the world has somehow shifted", it suits the situation so well. Zack's duet adds much charisma to it as well, Mandy Moore has given such a sighing soft note to this lovely piece.

12 Season Color Wheel
So I never really got to experience much of fashion-culture growing up and have just recently begun to give it any focus or attention. I have heard of the rule that "Redheads shouldn't wear pink." and I have seen some people discuss this here on FanPop in terms of Ariel and her rosa, -de-rosa dress. I have also read many comments debating Aurora's famous "Blue vs. rosa, -de-rosa Dress". In those discussions, I heard a talented user on this site, link say things like "She's a Winter." etc. I thought that was so fascinating! I had never heard of this concept before so I decided to look into it. That is how I came across the 12 Season System which is an adaptation of the earlier 4 Season System. Since this was all so new to me and quite complex and nuanced, I had to find as much detailed explanations as I possibly could to understand it. There are two major sites I used and they will be provided for those of you who are interested! :D

During my activity on Fanpop, especially this club, I often see many peoples were commented about their favoritos and least favoritos disney Princesses. So I think and started to made most favoritos and least favoritos disney Princesses por fanpop users in this club. Here's the list and say sorry if you don't agree with this artigo (this is just my opinions only). Enjoy!

Most favorito disney Princesses in Fanpop.

1. Mulan

This is kinda opposite with the general public. In general public she is one of the unpopular Princess (probably because she technically isn't a princess, but she has the honor of a princess). Many peoples took her in the topo, início 3 of their favorito lists. Peoples often pretend her as best role model of all disney Princesses, for her Valente act to save her country.

2. Ariel

1. Anna
Some people might find her a little annoying with all her awkwardness and energy, but I found her very entertaining and funny. Yes, she got engaged to someone she met that day, but she had her reasons. She's been lonely for mais than 10 years, and this is the first time in forever (ahaha) that they are finally opening up the gates. This is pretty much her only chance, right? So she meets this guy who seems PERFECT. At this point in the movie, did it cruz your mind that "hey, I bet he's gonna try to kill her"? Worst case scenario, they end up not really getting along, but at least she has a little company. I mean, I wouldn't encourage marrying I guy the dia you meet him, and it still was a little bit idiotic, but I think she should be given a break. Anyways, she cared so much for her older sister, and even though she's been living alone and hurt for such a long time, she never let it break her. :) Another reason she's my favorito is because I can relate to her, since my brother has severe OCD and for a while, would just stay in my parent's room with the door closed and I could never see him because it was that bad. :( Plus he kind of has her personality and he loves...

Don't call Fanpop superficial. :)
First of all, THANK YOU so much to the 24+ fãs on this site who participated in my series of "DP personality trait" polls! I was so happy to see so many voters as I wanted this to be a very community-involved thing. Your participation was most necessary and appreciated! :D Your comments were even mais appreciated and some are posted throughout the artigo as relevant to each trait. [*Note: I am mais than willing to remove any comments upon simple request from commenter.]

In the series of polls, the last one was not pertaining as specifically to the DP itself but mais the film around the DP so I will address that first. When it comes to a NEW DP, the #1 aspect the fãs look MOST progressivo, para a frente to is a New Story or Situation OVER a new personality type, a new culture, new looks or a new race represented.

With a total of 29 traits pertaining to the DP's personality (and 1 trait pertaining to the DP film in general) here are the results of what you have voted that you would like to see in a disney Princess: [b][i][*Note: If you'd like to skip the comments and just see an no geral, global summary, feel free to skip to the bottom of the artigo where I have...

.... Or Are They? I keep hearing this massive distortion that Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora and sometimes others are "unrealistically perfect". Well first of all, they're not actually "perfect" but yes they strive for it and come pretty close. The number one reason? The earlier DPs were made in a time where families were still valued as well as good morals and they were on their best behavior in front of children, hoping that the kids would learn to embrace positive traits and reject negative traits so they would be mais positive people. They cared mais about well-roundedness, being modest in all aspects because true modesty wouldn't just be limited to attitude, manner or appearance but apply to all aspects. Likewise, the DPs were shown to be modest in all aspects: Positive and pleasant demeanor, graceful and good etiquette and feminine yet modestly dressed.

Secondly, they were obviously not uncommon or unrealistic for their time but they still aren't now! Need proof? Here are some examples of women in the spotlight who managed to hold onto their morals and who are just as "unrealistically perfect" as the DPs whom are accused of being such. Do people really see...

Happy Halloween! After much thinking about this, I think I finally came up with another artigo that i'm sure would be interesting to talk about.

Everything lives in a balance. there can't be good without bad, light without darkness, etc etc...The dichtonomy of ying-yang and how they complement each other is a subject that I find fascinating to read about, and mostly to apply it to other things. Something interesting i noted is how often in disney the villains are pretty much the exact opposite of the heroes, but they often sometimes come from a same base. And in that base, they have much in common.

Doing this was hard, because i had to think of a few good reasons and think properly which heroine fitted which villain, and such. It might be flawed in some parts, and I know that, so if you want to disagree in a few of these choices, you're perfectly allowed to. After all, a good discussion never hurt anybody.

I based this on my ideas and also on a few things Audreyfreak has said from time to time. So, thanks for the idea Audrey! It certainly inspired me to make this.

I find majority of the DP filmes to be a bit scary, but that doesn't mean that it's impossible to make a list of the scariest movies, but it wasn't an easy list to do, but as usual I hope you'll enjoy this article

12. Cinderella

Okay so the bottom 3 are the only ones I'm really sure about and especially number 12, I mean do I even need to explain why it's last? But luckily it's there for a good reason, but despite being last it does have a few scary moments, but nowhere near as much as the filmes above

11. Frozen

This movie also lacks scary moments, but I placed it higher because it has mais scary moments and also it's based on a quite dark fairytale, The Snow Queen. But it's not as scary as the filmes above

10. Tangled

Again lacks scary moments, but it's placed higher than Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante because Mother Gothel's Death was quite scary to watch, but besides that not so scary actually

So yesterday I wrote an artigo about the Scariest Moments In Each DP Movie IMO, today I'm going to write about the topo, início 10 Scariest DP Movie Moments IMO, I'm also going to write an artigo about the Scariest DP Movies. You'll probably recognise some moments from my anterior articles, but there'll be new ones too so I hope you'll enjoy this article

10. Mordú

I'll just copy what I said in my anterior article: This urso is really scary looking imo especially with all of those arrows on him and the eyes are creepy too and his dark look also helps making him mais scary. Now his death isn't that scary actually just because the dark setting makes it hard to see his death, but yes, this urso is one of the scariest disney Bears (along with the one in the raposa and The Hound)

9. The Cave Of Wonders

Again I'll just copy what I said in my anterior article: This character is only seen in like 2 scenes, but despite that he manges to always scare me, not only the way he looks and the fact that the entrance is through his mouth so you're getting the feeling of that he's going to eat you if you step in...

Since it's Dia das bruxas soon I decided to write a few artigos relating to that, they're actually pretty much the same, this one is about the scariest moment in each DP Movie, the other one will be my topo, início 5 or topo, início 10 Scariest DP Movie Moments, haven't decided yet which one I'll do, but I'm leaning towards topo, início 5 at the current moment. Anyway so I hope you'll enjoy this article

Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs: The Forest Scene

It's feels kind of strange to start off this artigo with imo probably the scariest animated moment and one of the scariest movie moments (I don't like horror movies), anyway this scene is one of my favorito movie scenes, everything about this scene is amazing and scary, the animation, the music. But the part that scares me the most is the part seen in the fotografia above, those eyes are really scary especially when it looks ike they're coming towards you, sometimes I close my eyes when that part comes, but it never fails to scare me

As I mentioned in its first part that this artigo is for those princesses who got their wedding in original or a sequel. I have re-imagined the gowns for all the princesses as honestly, I don't quite like the ones disney has shown. The dresses lacks the effort as much as they deserve in my opinion. A princess wedding vestido should be thoroughly thought through and designed. Cinderella's and Mulan's are por far the only wedding dress that actually fits their personality the most, in my opinion.

So here's my selection of the re-imagined wedding gowns for the remaining princesses.

1. Cinderella:

Both the wedding dresses designed for her actually fits her sophisticated and classic style. I amor how she's given the most classic look with full sleeves with full flaired saia and thin veil. When I thought of selecting wedding gowns for her, exactly these kinds came to my mind. For detailing purpose, I'm showing my selection here. I think renda, rendas, laço corpete with sheer lacy sleeves would have brought out her beauty in simplicity.

I have been wanting to write this artigo since beginning but it took a lot mais time to find that right kind of dresses for each princess. I amor weddings, the festivity of it, the promises in it, the preparations for it. I'm kind of disappointed that disney hasn't made it a ritual kind of a thing in its movies. Though I understand, different plots need different settings, but I'd still amor to see mais of disney weddings especially in a romantic plot. I so wish especially Aurora's and Snow's wedding, with them finding their prince in the classic fairytale set-up.
Initially I had wanted to design the whole wedding theme for each princess but that is taking way too long, so I have picked out only princess wedding gowns for this article, as of now. The wedding theme is also under working, though. (I'm so excited to work on this).

Part 1 of the artigo is for those princesses who didn't get a formal wedding in their Happy Ever After. Part 2 will be for re-imagining the wedding gowns for those princesses who did get their wedding in original or sequels.
