This is a movie I'm really not looking progressivo, para a frente to watching. I don't mind watching sequels because I used to amor them so much when I was a kid but mulan is one of my all-time favorito filmes ever and this sequel is like on a Maleficent level of ruining original characters.

Tonight's rewatch: mulan 2
Last time watched: 2005-2006

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I saw the commercial for this movie when I was 11 and I was excited because, again, mulan is one of my all-time favorito movies. I didn't actually watch the movie until I was 13 or 14 because I was starting middle school when this...

Unlike SB vs M, this one had some mixed results for some of the questions.

O = Original
R = Remake
O and R = Original and Remake

Favorite Cinderella
O 7
R 2

Ella and cinderela were both equally good characters, they were both kind, both tried to make the best out of a bad situation, and both had courage. There are mixed feelings for Ella though; she was constantly smiling even when being insulted, she was given a poor reason to stay in her home, her character used the "always be kind" in a way that made her a doormat for her stepfamily even when her father was alive, and while the original Cinderella...

Tonight's rewatch: Beauty and the Beast 2017 remake
Last time watched: 2017

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I watched this movie as an adult but I still like to think I'm a kid at heart. So if you've read my artigo for Beauty and the Beast, you know I have a huge amor for Beauty and the Beast, for nostalgia reasons and because I just amor the movie. So when I watched the trailer for this movie I felt so much...

So I'm going to be really honest with you. After watching Pocahontas 2 and mulan 2 I really really really really don't want to watch this movie. That's why it took me so long to watch it and write this artigo and the reason I'm only just now doing it is because I borrowed this movie from the biblioteca almost 2 weeks atrás and I have to return it tomorrow.

Tonight's rewatch: Mulan
Last time watched: 2015

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I loved this movie when I was a kid! Mulan, both the movie and the character, was actually one of the reasons I became a feminist and why I amor badass women (kinda why I don't 100% blame the revival era for people hating princesses who find amor or aren't "kickass"). I used to sing the songs all the time when I was a kid and I loved any merch I could get (which wasn't a lot). I still have my stuffed Cri-Kee that...

I know Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante isn't part of the disney Princess franchise but this movie was on the list of filmes to watch for months before I finally started doing these artigos so please just go with it. Or don't read it. Whichever keeps things drama free.

Tonight's rewatch: Frozen
Last time watched: 2014

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
I was 20 going on 21 when this movie was released in theaters so I wasn't exactly a kid, mais like a kid at heart. I wasn't excited about this movie at the time and it didn't help when disney released childrens books that spoiled the plot, including the Hans spoilers,...

Tonight's rewatch: Both Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante shorts
Last time watched: 2018

How much did I like this movie as a kid?
Like Frozen, these shorts came out in my 20s so I wasn't a kid but like I said before, I'm a kid at heart! I was hesitant to watch both shorts because I kept hearing a lot of Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante haters call these shorts cash cows and said the holiday special was boring. I hardly heard anything positive about both shorts. I watched Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante Fever about a week or two after it premiered and I loved it and I finally watched Olaf's Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante Adventure around natal time last ano and, again, loved it!

A great appreciation for all people in this spot who participated in my poll. Using the link (Myers Briggs Type Indicator) assessment, I attempted to classify Belle in one of sixteen different personality types.

BELLE IS...

1. Introverted link

Introverts often:
- Have quiet energy
- Listen mais than talk
- Think quietly inside their heads
- Think, then act
- Feel comfortable being alone
- Prefer to work "behind-the-scenes"
- Have good powers of concentration
- Prefer to focus on one thing at a time
- Are self-contained and reserved

In the song "Belle," she preferred leitura alone to mingling with...

It’s kind of odd that the opening scene in the movie is last in our countdown. Here is where we meet our hero AND our villain. They are setting sail from England to the new world in procurar of the three G’s; Glory, God and Gold. We also meet Thomas, a young clumsy boy on the road to becoming a man. He immediately strikes...

With the pending release of two “Snow White” revamps, boasting Kristin Stewart and Lily Collins in the leading roles – I began to wonder: look-wise, who could fill the shoes of the other 9 princesses? And after exhausting google image, I’ve found my answer. These celebrity-princess doppelgangers share mais than merely eye and hair colour; in fact, many are practically identical. Give their faces and features mais than a quick glance and I promise you’ll agree.

Even though all the princesses are pretty and attractive, one is just abit hotter than the next. So let's get started.

10.Rapunzel
I don't know if it has anything to do with the 3D animation but I just don't find Rapunzel hot. She looks an 11 ano old and she's supposed to be 18. And her face isn't all that great either, her eyes are too freaking large.

9.Snow White
I guess we're not to supposed to find Snow White hot. She is only 14 but she looks a little older than that. Probably because she looks so tall compared to the dwarves. She's too cute and baby like to be hot. I like her...

Okay I'm trying to make a complete list of all disney Princesses. To make this list the disney girl must be either born royalty or she marries royalty. (So while mulan is awesome, she doesn't make the cut) This is to include all princesses not just leading ladies.
If you see one is not on the list please comment.

Born Royalty
-Adella (King Triton's Daughter)
-Alana (King Triton's Daughter)
-Andrina (King Triton's Daughter)
-Aquata (King Triton's Daughter)

Once upon a time, there was a man who had a lovely and beautiful lady as his wife. They had one daughter only and her name was Cinderella, who was very dutiful to her parents. But while she was still very young, her mamma died, to the grief of her husband and daughter. After a time, the little girl’s papa married another lady. This lady was evil and haughty, and had two ugly grown-up daughters as disagreeable as herself; so the poor girl found everything at início changed for the worse.

But she bore all her troubles with patience and grace, not even complaining to her father, and, in spite...

20. Part of Your World (Reprise)
This song is quick, simple, but very sweet. It shows you don't need to have a lot of metaphors and poetic devices to convey what you want. Ariel expresses her desire to become human so clearly and plainly in this song, just por the emotion and longing she conveys, and por just putting it into simple sentences.

Sleeping Beauty was released on January 29, 1959 and was made due to the overwhelming success of Cinderella. Therefor the disney Studios got right to work revisiting the fairy tale formula and developing a new version of the classic story. It was decided early on that this film would have to surpass its predecessing fairy tale films.

Early concept art of Belle and the Beast

Beauty and the Beast; often considered the magnum opus of the Walt disney company was released on November 13, 1991. As most people know, it is the only traditionally animated film to encontro, data to have garnered an Oscar nomination for Best Picture. This may have been due to the approach to this film. It was so unusual for an animated film; having a screen writer, atuação director, flawless score, elements that were typically reserved for high-budget live-action films. So much care and detail was put into this film that entire books could be written about...

The little Mermaid was released on November 17 1989 and is largely accredited with being the film that heralded the beginning of the disney Renaissance. With the average production time of an animated disney film being 6 years this film was developed in the height of the 80’s.

The assignment of designing the heroine Ariel was left to animator Glen Keane who would go on to animate other disney characters such as the Beast, aladdin and Tarzan. He wanted the heroine to be reminiscent of the traditional disney Princesses while at the same time being relatable to the ‘modern...

Snow White ___________________________

In the beginning of the Grimm's Tale Schneewittchen, Snow White's mother pricks her finger with a sewing needle and three drops of her blood fall onto the snow which lay on the ebony windowsill. Oddly enough, this made her long for a daughter of a similar color scheme. While this reflects the arc of the story: (white)innocence, (red)maturity & love, and (black)death, her name particularly represents a season when the world metaphorically sleeps only to be inevitably awakened with the coming of spring.

Hi everyone, I just watched Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom of the Opera just now. While watching, I noticed some similarities with Beauty and the Beast! Here are my observations.

The Story-line

As you may know, both stories are set in France, it also has a sad theme in it as it deals with a deformed person name Erik who wishes to be love. Ironically, the author of The Phantom of the Opera is por Gaston Leroux, who happens to be the namesake villain of Disney's retelling of Beauty and the Beast. The rose also plays a symbolic role in both stories.
Secondly, the Stranger Than You Dream It scene...
