Hi there, and welcome to my 5th article! Last December, I wrote my link on my favorito disney Princesses, but I didn't include Anna or Elsa yet because I wanted to wait for them to cadastrar-se the lineup officially. Well, they're still not in the franchise quite yet, but seeing as how plenty of us (including myself) have them in pesquisas and artigos and whatnot, I'll include them anyway. :D My placements will fluctuate, I'm sure, but here's how my list stands as of July 2014.

13. Aurora (Previous Placement: 11th out of 11)
Aurora used to be one of my favoritos growing up. I admired her sweet and graceful nature, curiosity, playfulness, and...that's about it. Yeah, 20 minutos isn't a whole lot of time to establish your character. Whenever I watch her movie, I do like her, but in the overall, there isn't a whole lot to her, so she remains last.
12. Pocahontas (Previous Placement: 10th out of 11)
What keeps Pocahontas from being dead last are her musical sequences. Seriously! Those are her most interesting segments. "Just Around the Riverbend" depicts her adventurous and curious personality, while "Colors of the Wind" shows her appreciation and understanding towards nature, along with her wisdom. Aside from these, I find Pocahontas pretty bland.
11. jasmim (Previous Placement: 7th out of 11)
After re-watching Aladdin, jasmim didn't leave too much of an impression. I still like her; she just doesn't rank too high on my list. I like her rebelliousness and desire to make her own choices, but since it's not her movie, we don't get to find out much mais about her.
10. mulan (Previous Placement: 5th out of 11)
Surprised to see mulan so low? Don't get me wrong, I like mulan just fine. I don't think I need to explain why; we all amor her for her bravery and willingness to sacrifice herself for others. I only first watched mulan a few years ago, so there's not much in terms of nostalgia. Again, I like mulan - I simply like the others more.
9. Snow White (Previous Placement: 8th out of 11)
I LOVED Snow White as a kid. She was my favorito princess growing up, hands down, for pretty much everything about her - her kindness, sweet and gentle nature, all of that good stuff. She's obviously dropped a few spots since then, not because I don't like her, but same as Mulan, I just like the others more.
8. Merida (Previous Placement: 9th out of 11)
It may not look like she's moved up a lot, but I've come to really like Merida! I criticized her before for not being as "action-packed" as I thought she would be, and for the situation involving her mom. I've been re-watching Valente a lot and I can look past those. I'm glad she's not super "action-packed" - it would have made her less of a realistic character. That's how I see it, at least. Merida's a fun character, and I admire her sense of adventure and her imperfections.
7. Ariel (Previous Placement: 4th out of 11)
I watched The Little Mermaid not too long atrás and was kind of surprised at how...bratty Ariel was in the first act. Every other time I watched the movie, I liked her even in that segment, but not this time around. But when she becomes a human, her personality really starts to take effect. She doesn't need a voice to be interesting - she's very curious and fun once she's human, and it may sound bad, but I like Ariel mais when she's mute! It may look like she's fallen on my list, which...yeah, that's kind of true, but it's only because I've had to make room for other princesses in the upper half of the list.
6. Belle (Previous Placement: 6th out of 11)
Belle remains in 6th place, but technically she's higher on the list than last time since there are mais princesses this time around. I for one amor Belle - she doesn't care what others think about her. She just goes on with life doing what she wants. She's kind, respectful, clever, and...what am I forgetting? Oh, yeah! We all know this - she looks on the inside. There are some who don't like her, one reason being she's too perfect, and although I can see where they're coming from, I still can't help but amor Belle.
5. cinderela (Previous Placement: 3rd out of 11)
Cinderella's fallen a little bit, but I still amor her. Much like Aurora, cinderela is sweet and graceful, but with Cinderella, I especially admire how hardworking she is. It also amazes me how she always remained both happy and hopeful that things would get better soon. I don't know what else to say about cinderela other than I amor her. :D
4. Anna (New Addition)
Before watching Frozen, I thought for sure that I'd like Elsa more. At first, I was wrong - I liked Anna much more. I'll talk mais about Elsa later, and although Anna's lower than her sister, I'm still a huge fã of hers. She's fun, funny, upbeat, joyful, and just a really entertaining character. Was it smart to head out to find her sister all por herself [initially]? No, but I admire that - she knew that it was her fault what had happened, and she burdened herself with fixing the problem. And let's not forget her ultimate sacrifice at the end - that still amazes me. :)
3. Rapunzel (Previous Placement: 2nd out of 11)
I fell in amor with enrolados the first time I watched it, and Rapunzel instantly became one of my favorites. She's just such a happy and upbeat, energetic character that a lot of Fanpoppers seem to like. Rapunzel's curious, adventurous, creative, and always positive and happy. I'm glad that she gets as much attention as she does, both on and off Fanpop. :D
2. Tiana (Previous Placement: 1st out of 11)
Tiana's been my favorito princess since I first watched her movie in theaters. She's my segundo favorito now, but like many other princesses on this list, I amor her to bits. She's hardworking, that is for sure. I like her transformation from being, as Naveen calls it, a "stick in the mud" to someone who allows herself to have fun every once in a while. I admire how she set the goal of establishing her own restaurant - it takes a lot of determination and willpower to do something like that, and she persisted. It makes me kind of sad to see that she isn't my #1 favorito after all these years, but I always have and always will amor Tiana.
1. Elsa (New Addition)
It's a really weird relationship I have with Elsa. Whenever I finish watching Frozen, I'm always thinking, "That's it?" I amor Let it Go just as much as anyone else, but that seems to be her only scene. But then, give me a few days and I'll just amor Elsa. I have no idea what it is. Maybe there's something there that wasn't there before (ah, BatB references :D). Or maybe, since her personality isn't too established, I can kind of picture what I think she is. If it's the latter, then why is Aurora your least favorite?, you may ask. Good question; here's why. Even though Elsa doesn't have a lot of screentime, she's still fairly interesting. (Not everyone will think she's interesting, I'm sure, but that's just how I feel.) Aurora...is not that interesting to me.
Anyway, what do I like about Elsa? Her conflict with her powers is in some ways admirable. She's been trying for several years to keep them under control, but being isolated from her loved ones prevented that from happening. She runs away when her powers are revealed, and I see that as because she doesn't want to harm the kingdom any mais than she already has. She's doing it for their own good, and in the process comes to terms with who she is. I can kind of relate to that. I don't have powers (obviously :P), but I'm a pretty quiet person. I can look up to Elsa to be mais confident in who I am. And that may just be the reason why she ends up being my favorite.
Thank you so much for leitura my article! I'm sure that your list looks a lot different from mine, but I hope that this was at least somewhat enjoyable to read. Let me know who your favorito (and/or least favorite) princesses are, and feel free to comment - they're always welcome! :D
