Hey! So, I just realized I haven't ever posted an artigo on Fanpop. Well, that's about to change! I also realized that none of you really know anything about me...so, without further ado, my favourite princess list!

13. Jasmine
I know this is probably a pretty unpopular opinion, but I really don't like Jasmine. When I was a kid I adored her, but now...not really. I dislike the way she just forgave aladdin for cheating and lying to her like that. She's supposed to be 'stubborn' and 'doesn't want to be treated like a prize', but sorry for saying it, she married someone who just did that, and lied to her. I understand forgiving him, but she did it and agreed to marry him after barely any time at all!
She does have nice hair, I'll give her that.

12. Ariel
I'm not totally fond of The Little Mermaid as a whole, and I would probably dislike Ariel mais if I hadn't seen the sequel. I do believe she got consequences for her actions, but I dislike how she doesn't seem to change por the end por the way she treats Melody. Hint: It's exactly the same way Triton treated Ariel. I do like Ariel's curious nature, though.
I can relate to her curiosity, but not much else.

11. Pocahontas
Again, Pocahontas is a princess who's sequel influenced my opinion on her. I do like her free-spirited and playful temperament, but I'm not fond of some of her characteristics such as how she ignored Nakoma's warnings and didn't explain the situation to her, and the fact that she ignored John Smith in Pocahontas 2.
I don't understand why she didn't explain things to Nakoma.

10. Aurora
I honestly think that if she had mais screen time and character development, I'd amor her. Either way, I'm quite fond of Aurora. I like her refined, regal nature and her dreamy, philosophical temperament. The only reasons that she's this low is due to her lack of development and screen time, and her naivete.
I wish she had mais development, otherwise I'd amor her!

9. Snow White
Again, a lack of development. I actually like Aurora more, but most of that is built on my headcanons about her personality. I like that when she gets older she'll probably be like Mrs. Weasley from Harry Potter, I like her sweetness, and I like her bossy nature. But I don't like her mais than the others in the list.
When she grows up, she'll be like Mrs Weasley to her kids.

8. Rapunzel
It was really hard to choose between Rapunzel and Merida as I like them equally, but Merida is mais of a fresh new character while Rapunzel is mais recycled traits. I do like how she's like a modern teenager, with her feisty and funny nature, and her creativity and cleverness. However, I don't exactly like how child-like and naive she is.
A modern teenager, but a bit too recycled for me.

7. Merida
I didn't like Merida until recently. Now that I do like her, I can appreciate how much she develops. In fact, her extreme character development is one of the reasons she's higher than Rapunzel. The other reasons is that she's mais unique than the other princess, both in appearance and personality. Sure, we've seen the stubborn rebellious royal archetype before, but Merida has a free spirit and is the first really 'tomboyish' princess in my opinion. The main reason I like Merida is her huge character development.
Her character development makes her high up on my list.

6. Anna
I like Anna! I like her mais than Rapunzel, actually. She has development, but the main reason I like Anna is because she's mais relatable than Rapunzel. It's probably because of the fact that she's mais awkward, clumsy and quirky than Rapunzel.
So relatable! She even has a bedhead!

5. Cinderella
cinderela is actually a lot better than most people give her credit for. The main thing I like about her is her strength. She managed to stay strong in an abusive household, which I admire about her. I also like her traits that set her apart from the other three Classics; her sense of self preservation and her resourcefulness.
I admire her character for her strength and resourcefulness.

4. Belle
I used to adore Belle. I still like her, from her witty remarks, her feisty temperament, her intelligence and thirst for knowledge. However, the others are higher because they develop more. In fact the only reason she's so high up is because I relate to her.
I adore her personality and character, but she is poorly developed.

3. Mulan
I amor Mulan! In fact, it was hard deciding between her and Tiana, but mulan lost ultimately. Still, I adore her character. Like Cinderella, one of the main reasons why I like her is because I admire her. In Mulan's case, I admire her resilience, courage and determination. I can also relate to her desire to be accepted for who she is and her outspoken, astute nature is a defining factor in my liking for her. But my favourite thing about her is that she's not afraid to speak up and make her opinions know.
I admire her and relate to her.

2. Tiana
Tiana in second? Gasp! But, if I'm honest, I amor Tiana. She combines character development, a good personality and being relatable. I like her hard work ethic, intelligence, humour and determination. I can seriously relate to her ambition, though I strive for something completely different, and her bravery. Also, I enjoy watching her develop throughout the film, from a workaholic driven only por her dream to open a restaurant, to a young woman who understands that amor is the most important thing in life and all that. And I was so happy when she got her restaurant!
Relatable, develops and a strong character; what's not to like?

And AprilGhost's favourite disney Princess is:

1. Elsa
Elsa. What is there to say about Elsa? I honestly believe that she's the best disney Princess. I can truly relate to her insecurities, anxiety and fear of hurting people she loves. Most of her decisions are decisions I would make, and you bet I would probably lose control if I was pushed; just like Elsa in the film. I do really wish I was as elegant and regal as Elsa is, and two of Elsa's main aspirations (freedom and being accepted) are two things I strive for. I'm also very introverted and reserved, and if I was called a monster por people and hated por everyone, I'd run away too (though I probably wouldn't be able to make an awesome ice palace like she did). There's also her development to consider; she goes from being terrified of herself to free and in total control. All this is why Elsa is my favourite disney Princess.
The winner! She really is my favourite as I can relate to her, wish I had her characteristics and enjoy her character while I watch the film.
