Ariel and Belle are the most beloved and popular disney princesses in Fanpop. To tell the truth, Belle has slightly mais fans. She is pretty, sure, but beautiful? Not likely. She has brown hair and hazel eyes (that's a charmer) but to me it looks quite plain. And she's pretty but she's TOTALLY ANAWARE OF IT? Really? Like she didn't see it when she looked in that mirror?
But Ariel was completely aware of it. She tried to be good-looking in front of her dream boy. Red hair and blue eyes are a lot prettier than brown hair and hazel eyes to me.
Belle reads (which is why people like her) and seeks for adventure, while Ariel fights for what she wants to get it. Sure, Belle does think of others first and Ariel is a bit selfish, but Belle also is TOO perfect. Nobody's perfect. At least Ariel made mistakes and we can relate to her.
So as you can see, this is why I prefer Ariel a lot mais than Belle.

Hum...ok I don't think that Belle is too perfect, but I get your argument :) And I liked what you said about Ariel who fight for what she wants, this is why I like her (although I like Belle much more than Ariel )

CaiWonderlander I find Belle a lot like me. Reading, romantic, hazel eyes....so, I think I like Belle better. But at least you wrote why. (I don't really like Ariel, she's just too perky) :)

MaidofOrleans Yes, Ariel is much prettier than Belle, but I prefer Belle as a character. I have a lot more in common with her, and I disagree about her being perfect. She goes back on her word and is also manipulative and snobbish.

CaiWonderlander Sorry, if I sound like a know it all, but her eyes aren't hazel (I just checked). They're brown. :)

dclairmont ^^^^^ hazel isn't bluish grey....my eyes are hazel and they're a mix of gold and green....

TigerRanma @ CaiWonderlandet, Belle's eyes are a mix of gold and green. When I was little, I thought Belle's eyes were brown until I noticed some green in her eyes. This made me think that her eyes were green. But then I learned of the eye color called hazel. My mom has them, my brother has them, my favorite singer has them, and these two siblings I know all have hazel eyes, like Belle. Hazel eyes became my favorite eye color.

CaiWonderlander Oops. Sorry. I looked it up. You're right, but hazel isn't really a specific color. Thanks for telling me I was wrong.

Comparing disney girls to similar films: Snow white

oi everyone, this is my segundo article, and I thought it would be fun making this one.

So, i'm gonna be doing this for all the disney girls in order.
Basically what it is, is me comparing two filmes to another movie, or novel to the disney films we all love. Okay, here we go.
Snow white was made in 1937, but it was origionally collected por the Brothers Grimm tales.
I think the one of the filmes that relate to snow white the most is Syney White.
I watched it, and thought it was hilarious! It really reflects on snow white, but brings it to a mais modern-day storyline.

So I recently re-watched all the filmes and completely changed my personal ranking of the prettiest princesses.

9. Snow White

The youngest of the princesses, it makes sense that Snow is extremely cute looking but not gorgeous. Her face is a little pudgy her eyes are shut most of the time.

8. Mulan

One of my favourites, mulan is definitely not ugly, she's quite pretty in my opinion. Unfortunately, she's mais plain than the others and doesn't have that extra spark. I amor her oriental eyes and sleek hair though.

Ho hum the tune is dumb, the words don't mean a thing. Isn't this a silly song for anyone to sing?

I amor the scene where they are all cantar and dancing. They all seem so happy and are having such a good time. It surprises even myself that the end beijar scene isn't my favorite. I just find it depressing that Snow White leaves the very people who loved and took care of her for some dude she never even spoke to.
