The seguinte morning Frollo's carriage pulled up in front of Notre Dame his guards and Captain Phoebus were all lined up awaiting their orders when as Frollo opened the carriage door rubbing his right eye "Morning sir", "Oh", "Are you feeling alright?" Phoebus asked an awkward look on his face "I had a little trouble with the fireplace", "I see your orders sir?", "Find the gypsy girl!" Frollo demanded "Yes sir alright men spread out find the gypsy girl. The guards searched through all corners of Paris searching through all homes and stores finding gypsies hiding in there underground escape routes through a door in the floor taking them to Frollo "Ten pieces of silver for the gypsy Esmeralda" but the groups didn't speak a word he ordered them to be locked up the guards even pushed wagons into the river gypsies swam to the surface being dragged from the water up to surface again taking them to Frollo this time he raised the amount of silver "Twenty pieces of silver for the gypsy Esmeralda!" but again they didn't speak and were taken away.
It was an hora before sunset and there was no luck of finding Esmeralda frustrated Frollo called off the procurar riding back on his black horse to the Palace of Justice to think of a new strategy Phoebus was right behind him when something in the dress comprar window caught his eye "Woo" he hopped down from Achilles and took a closer look "Wait here boy I'll be right back" he walked into the comprar a little sino hung from the door "May I help you?" asked the stores owner an old man about in his seventies with gray hair and beard wearing a brown vest with a white shirt, tie, and green jaqueta with a blue flor in his pocket he was very well dressed where as everyone else was dressed mais casually he seemed like an englishman "Yes how much for that dress in the window there?", "Oh that one I'd say Forty pieces of silver", "I'll give you ten", "I'm sorry I can't accept that offer however I might be will to trade for that mighty fine sword of yours", "I'm sorry but I'm afraid I can't accept your trade", "Its either the sword or the silver take it or leave it!", "George Jenkins are you bargaining with the customers again how many times do I have to tell you!" cried his wife also seemed english and in her seventies with her grey hair in a bonnet wearing black glasses and a rosa, -de-rosa dress with an avental that had some pins stuck through it "Oh hello young man how may I help you?", "I'd like to buy that dress in the window", "Oh that dress is lovely so beautiful and so elegant perfect for someone special", "Yes it is", "Now how much are you willing to pay for it dear?", "All I have is ten pieces of silver", "We'll that'll be just fine", "But but dearest that's so low! That dress is clearly worth forty its one of your finest pieces!", "These are hard times now George every young lady deserves a fine dress in my opinion it makes them feel special do you remember when we were young and in amor and we danced in the rain in the middle of the street", "Ahh yes you looked so beautiful in that puffy rosa, -de-rosa vestido very well dear", "You two fell in amor while dancing", "Oh yes it was so romantic it was the best night of my life" said Mrs. Jenkins "Do you know of any good place to where I could take someone?", "I'm not sure why do you ask dear?", "Oh I was just curious I'll think of something", "Oh are you going to take a young lady dancing?", "Yes I want to do something special for her this dress is a gift", "Oh how romantic let me get the matching shoes and accessories from the back" she quickly returned grabbing a white box with a lid from the back of the counter then took the dress of the mannequin folding if ever so gently, placing it in the box along with the shoes and accessories, and finally placing the lid on topo, início cutting a ribbon from behind the counter and wrapping it around the box with a big pretty bow. "There you are dear" handing Phoebus the box "Thank you how much do I owe you for the shoes and accessories?", "Oh nothing at all dear consider it my gift to her", "Thank you again have a good evening", "Goodbye dear such a sweet young man", "Not as sweet as you" smiling at his wife "Oh George" watching from the comprar window as Phoebus rode off on Achilles.
Phoebus rode through the city trying to find the perfect place it had to be something unique and special but everyone he asked didn't seem to know where he should go when people went dancing around here there wasn't any fancy place like you would find in England here people danced in the streets but that didn't stop him he continued with his procurar determined to find it no matter how long it took.
It was getting close to sunset becoming quite tired from a long dia of searching Phoebus's determination was out weighed por his exhaustion he was ready to call it a night when an idea struck him as he looked at Notre Dame he quickly rode over and raced inside looking for the Archdeacon he slowly walked around admiring the cathedrals majesty and beauty it was perfect exactly what he was looking for why hadn't he thought of it before spotting the Archdeacon blowing out the candles in the room with the statue of the Mother Mary and baby jesus "Excuse me sir", "Oh hello I'm sorry but the cathedral will be locked up for the night for evening mass please come back in the morning" walking away with Phoebus right on his heels "Wait please! I just have a pergunta I need to ask you", "Oh well how can I help you my son?", "Well actually I um I was wondering would you be agains't someone holding a special evening inside the cathedral", "The church is a place of worship a seguro heaven where people come to seek respostas and to find some peace this is no place for riffraff", "Yes I understand thank you for your time father" Phoebus was heading to the door filled with disappointment "However I might be willing to make an exception if I knew what this special event was for" the Archdeacon said with a smile upon his face Phoebus turned back towards him walking together side por side telling the father of his plan. With the arrangements made Phoebus went back to the Palace of Justice after he took Achilles to his stable he grabbed the box and headed the Belle's chambers knocking at her door "Belle its me Phoebus" he said as he opened the door and walked in "Hello Belle" the coast was clear she wasn't there he quickly grabbed a piece of paper and a quill pen composição literária a short little note and placing it on her cama seguinte to the box and quietly slipped out heading back to his chambers to freshen up.
Belle was heading back from spending the dia with Quasimodo she was teaching him how to read he was doing so well he's a fast learner catching on very quickly she was very impressed and enjoyed teaching him. She walked down the hall to her chambers her room was surprisingly much mais lively then the rest of the palace it was dark and dreary with its grey stone walls and dark toned decor and furnishings
as she opened the door and entered her room she noticed something on her cama she walked over and saw there was a large cream white box with beautiful golden yellow ribbon tied into a bow at the topo, início she took off the ribbon and when she removed the rid she saw a golden yellow dress she took it out of the box and held it against her body it was the most beautiful dress she had ever seen a ball vestido with large puffy saia that had a sash in a U shape that came to a point with a bead at the two corners going around the entire dress, three little beads at the neckline and she loved how the colarinho, colar wrapped gracefully around the shoulders there was also some matching arm gloves and ballerina flats. Belle was shocked who could have possibly bought her such an elegant vestido she suddenly noticed a note seguinte to the box that the dress came in "Please wear this tonight and meet me in Notre Dame after sunset ~Phoebus" she was completely surprised they had become close friends since his arrival and she never expected this she looked out the window the sun would be sunset soon she had to hurry if she was going to meet Phoebus on time she called for Eliza they had become good friends since she arrived at the palace.
After a quick bath she helped Belle get into her dress and put her hair up into a ponytail bun "There all finished and just in time to go take a look" Belle looked at herself in the floor length mirror admiring what she saw remembering how her mother always told her how beautiful she was not only on the outside but on the inside as well and for the first time since Papa's passing she saw it "I look beautiful I haven't felt this way in a long time","Yes you are Miss Belle I knew it from the first moment I met you you had a light that shined brighter than the sun yet you seemed to have noticed it in yourself like there seemed to be no purpose in your life anymore but after what you did for that boy in the sino tower I knew it wouldn't be long before you found yourself again" Belle couldn't help but hug her "Oh Eliza you have been so kind to me a true friend thank you so much for everything" "Your welcome now you better get going you don't want to keep the captain waiting" Belle gave her another quick hug and rushed over to the cathedral.
Belle was relieved she had just barely made it on time she opened the cathedral door "Hello is anyone here?" she asked walking in "Hello Phoebus" it was silent quiet as a rato Belle was so confused clearly Phoebus wouldn't have possibly forgotten to meet her here it was starting to get a little scary even though it was a holy place she had never been there at night before "Belle", "Oh Phoebus you startled me" coming up from behind her he couldn't help but smile "You look beautiful", "Thank you", "Shall we?" he asked giving her his arm she placed hers in his she got really excited not knowing what to expect as took her into the room with the large stain glass window filled with candle stands and on one end of the there was a candlelit mesa, tabela for two Phoebus lead her to the mesa, tabela pulling out her chair "Your mesa, tabela Mademoiselle" Belle giggled as he pushed her into the mesa, tabela and over to his assento assento across from her there was chicken, fruit, and some pão with a candelabra in the middle of the mesa, tabela "I know it isn't much but um its all I could afford" looking over at him he looked discouraged she could tell that he wanted it to be mais "No its wonderful nobody's ever done anything like this for me" he smiled encouragingly "Well I wanted to do something special because I um never mind would you like some wine?", "Sure I'll try some", "Ahh yes a 1470 burgundy not a good ano but a good wine great for pouring on wounds to so I've heard" filling her wine glass Belle giggled again "You do realize we're in a church Monsieur", "Yes I'm well aware of the fact I won't tell if you won't", "Haha its a deal" she took a small sip and didn't like it you could tell por the look on her face Phebous couldn't help but laugh "Its a acquired taste here have some water it helps get rid of the taste" handing her another glass "Thank you".
Suddenly the sounds of a organ and violin began to fill the room Belle was encantada por the melody wondering where it was coming from when she looked at Phoebus his hand out towards her "May I?" she smiled at him "Yes of course taking his hand as he lead her into the middle of room the candles giving it a soft glow as Phoebus pulled her closer to his placing his arm around her waist Belle placed her hand on his shoulder and her other in his hand "I'm not very good at this" he was so nervous he hadn't danced in a long time before the wars "Just take it slow" she said smiling giving him the courage he needed as they started moving slowly at first then the pace picked up as Phoebus started getting the hang of it with the accompaniment of the música and the monks cantar hymns Belle hadn't even noticed it it was like being in a dream as if it were only the two of them with every spin and every twirl gliding across the floor underneath the stained glass window with the magic of the moon bringing out the beauty of Notre Dame with as cores of white, red, golds and blues.
With Pheobus smiling upon her and the gazing look of amor and compassion in his eyes Belle couldn't help but rest her head upon his chest for the first time since she had lost Papa she felt that she was início as things started to slow down with the last fews spins and twirls right back where they had started as he lead her off deeper into the cathedral where they found a bench to sit but they couldn't stop gazing into each other's eyes.
Phoebus took her hands into his "Belle", "Yes", "Belle I" he couldn't put his feelings into words then he remembered he had one last thing for her "I have something for you as he helped her up he reached into his cape and pulled out a beautiful red rose "It reminded me of you and to help you remember tonight" "Thank you" taking the rose from him "This has been a night I will always remember", "Me to" stroking her face "Its getting late you two should head início and we need to start evening mass soon" said the Archdeacon catching the two por surprise "Yes of course father" replied Phoebus Belle went over to the Archdeacon she couldn't help but hug him "Thank you thank you so much I'll never forget this", "Your welcome my dear child" "Goodnight Belle", "Goodnight Phoebus" she placed her hand on his cheek looking into his eyes one mais time as she left with her rose in hand for the Palace of Justice as he and the Archdeacon watched "I couldn't help but notice your troubles telling the girl how you feel my son", Pheobus's face filled with shame "I couldn't father", "Why not", "I just have a feeling that something is going to happen something that would put Belle in danger if she knew its the only way I can protect her because because I amor her", "I know my son I just hope you know what your doing".
"You look beautiful"
"I have something for you"
