So what do YOU mean when you use the term "SJW"?
No, I mean, I know that it means "Social Justice Warrior," but I feel this is problematic.
And also, what does THAT even mean? I have seen so many bloody definitions of that term, I remain uncertain of why we use the term, and I want you to think about why YOU use it. link will say one thing, then a journalist I'll read about will define it as link. So what does it mean to you?
The reason I am desperate for a definition is because I am worried that this has become a derogatory term for an otherwise worthy cause. If you are using it to describe literally people fighting and fighting hard for social justice, then you do them a disservice. Not to mention you'd be slandering the original social justice fighters like Martin Luther King Jr., Susan B. Anthony, Harvey Milk, or Mahatma Gandhi. And if you don't, then the term is misleading. Either way, it's problematic, and you have to ask yourselves who coined it, and what purpose does it serve. Or, you know, I can ask those questions.
