Dead Or Alive Xtreme 3 Currently In Development At Team Ninja
Dead or Alive series producer Hayashi has confirmed Team Ninja is currently working on Dead or Alive Xtreme 3. The news was delivered during Dead or Alive Festival, even though no further details about it were provided to fans and press on site.
Hayashi has said that developing a new chapter in the DOAX franchise was almost a natural choice, since fans all over the world have been requiring it for years.
"There is a game where female DOA characters are having a vacation at south island. Fans having been asking for that game. It is actually the number 1 request from the fans. I have been acting as if I was ignoring these requests. But we have actually begun developing that game, the latest installment. It\'s still very early in development so we can\'t give more details, but I want to announce today that we are making the game."
Lots of questions remain unanswered, for example we still don’t know which platforms the game will be available for, and when the development cycle will be over.
Anyway, it looks a safe bet to say that it will arrive by the end of 2016 or the beginning of 2017, and it will be a PC, PS4 and Xbox One affair.
