A folded little note
laying on a table
that sweet Evangeline wrote
to her parents

She's standing above the water
Hearing her parents screams
for someone to find their daughter
but she's already almost over the edge

Crying and wondering what went wrong
in her life when it turned to hell
She realizes she's been struggling so long
and never had time to try to heal

She's finally had enough, too much to live
she falls off the bridge and thinks back
to all the amor she simply tried to give
but hits the water and it means nothing anymore
