I remember visiting this website once...
Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
option not available. :x please pick something else.
As the URL and header indicate, this is a blog decidated to the Danganronpa series! We will be both re-blogging and making posts of our own. Enjoy the blog! || We are SFW 100% of the time. ~ | The blog is NOT spoiler free.
DR artists / editors / cosplayers / etc, listen uuuup
It’s a blog in which people submit contributions to the fandom they find that they consider as “bad” or ridicule-worthy literally just for the sake of a bunch of low-lives to try and make it into a laughing stock. The really terrible part about it all is that participants
they will find other people’s content and submit it there WITHOUT the respective creators’ permission
just to make a mockery of it. Some people do submit their own content (ex: “this is my art from last year, omg lmao”), but as previously mentioned,
the blog also condones the submission of content that does not belong to the submitter in question, even if the submitter did not receive permission to do so from the respective creator/artist.
I’ve seen random cosplays submitted tagged with “disgusting” / “horrible” / etc. on the blog just because they weren’t “professionally-constructed” cosplays.
I recently saw one DR artist I’ve been following for some time talking about how they were
fucking crying after being informed by a fan that someone had submitted one of their works to that blog.
Can you imagine what it must be like for these creators who work up the courage to post their content that they worked hard on, only to find that their work has been put on a blog for the sole reason to make a mockery of it rather than any positive form of reception? I mean, constructive criticism/things along that line are acceptable, but
couraging behavior for the sake of “shits and giggles”. Don’t try and pull up “it’s just a joke, it’s not hurting anyone!!!” That’s clearly not the case if it made someone
. Some people loose sleep at night because jackasses like this think they have a place ridiculing their art, and that could very well happen and probably has happened as a result of the continuation of this blog! There is no valid excuse for this inconsiderateness. Besides, re-posting work without the consent of the artist is disrespectful to the poster and basically stealing under these circumstances.
If you, a participant in the DR fandom, stumble across this blog and happen to see that one of your works has been submitted outside of your knowledge and consent, first, please, as hurtful and discomforting as it probably is, don’t let someone like that stop you!
The blog claims that if you message them about getting your work removed from the blog after convincing them it’s really yours, they’ll take its removal into consideration, but that’s
. They shouldn’t expect you to try and reason with them— the fact that they
allow unapproved re-posting for the pure purpose of discouragement signifies that they don’t have respect for you (this is also clear if you look and see how they answer asks calling them out on it, they childishly try to excuse themselves with jokes), so you should feel no obligation to approach them with respect.
staff maybe you could pleeaaaassse do something about it, if it isn’t too much trouble.
Until something is done about the matter, if you’re a follower of the blog, please do not make submissions, even if they’re your content. Don’t like submissions, don’t reblog them, please stop encouraging this blog! It basically constitutes as bullying! I encourage you to essentially boycott the blog until something can be done!
I really don’t know if I can do much more than make this post, but if anyone else knows a way to help, feel free to add on!
Hey. As much as I hate to be the bearer of bad news, that blog is actually really old, and the person running it is obviously someone who genuinely doesn’t care about how they effect others so I’m going to cut to the chase. You don’t need their approval to get your work taken down. It’s illegal for them to put your work up in the first place, so naturally you have a right to get it taken down using this tool.Unfortunately, only the owner of the work can have it taken down through this method, and who knows, if enough people use the DMCA take down to get their work off the blog, staff might take notice and actually do something about the blog itself. (It’s the only way I see the staff getting involved with the blog itself unfortunately)
I noticed on that blog in particular the admin gets more active with more attention they get, so I’d be careful with posts like these. Regardless, the  blog itself seems to be submission based, so guys, please don’t make submissions.
The best way to combat this blog is to alert the artists and have them file out DMCAS, or to ignore that blog all together so it fades into obscurity.
