At the end of the movie, Sarah is oblivious of his amor of her kind of like Elena to Damon, she just doesn't like him and thinks that he's a bad boy but doesn't know he has actual feelings for her.
Also the Elena/Damon dancing scene kind of reminded me of the Sarah/Jareth ballroom scene.
