Hey, if anyone was wondering what that colar looked like in the behind the scenes picture, I saw this image and thought maybe that it's this. I could be wrong, but you never know. I found it in the TVD fã page. It could be Katherine's for all I know, but since we can't really make out the necklace's image that clearly, I thought that maybe this might be what Damon appears to be giving her.

If anyone has any theories or mais information on this, let me know. I just came upon it today and thought, "Hey, maybe this is what Damon gave Elena." I'm going to try and see if I can gather mais information on it and then I'll let you guys know what I come up with.

My answer was too long to fit in the question, so I've posted it here. Please note that this is purely my opinion and I do not wish to affend anyone. Enjoy.

At first, I had absolutely no idea why anyone would ship Bamon. However, that's because I always felt like Elena will always be number one for Damon and that that will never change. My opinion on this hasn't changed, but now I can at least understand why Bamon fãs ship Bamon.

Why it would ruin Damon if he fell in amor with Bonnie

I do not intend to bash, but state FACTS about why Damon falling in amor with Bonnie would be a big mistake on the writers part.

So firstly, how long was Damon in amor with Katherine for?! Over 100 years! This is the first piece of proof we have that when Damon loves someone he really loves them, because he was willing to do anything for Katherine, even kill people (this isn't justified, but he was doing it for her), because Katherine was "in the tomb" and he wanted to get her out to be with her.

Katherine was dragging Gabe’s corpse to the backside of Rachel’s house. She couldn’t get inside the house, so she opened the window to the basement and pushed Gabe’s body inside. She held his shoulders and let him down carefully. When she thought it was seguro she let go. The corpse fell on the basement floor, mute for a human ear, but as Katherine heard the thump, she figured Rachel would’ve too.
