Critical Analysis of Twilight In Breaking Dawn, does it bother you that no one seems to care about the people that were killed por the Cullens' vampire friends, who were in Forks to defend Renesmee?

It didn't really bother me. A vampire's gotta do what a vampire's gotta do.

I just realized no one has brought this matter up yet(?). So, I just read this article about imprinting on the Twilight Sucks forum. The author was writing about how ridiculous imprinting was and he/she (not sure, lol) mentioned about the vampire witnesses in Breaking Dawn. It's ironic since Stephenie Meyer mentioned in the series that the shapeshifters are like 'the guardian of human beings'. That's why they hunt down vampires. But when Renesmee came into the story, the pack turned a blind eye about those innocent people being killed by the vamp witnesses. Couldn't those vamps go 'vegetarian' for awhile? I know 'older' vampires don't feed as often as newborns, so couldn't Dr Carlisle somehow provide them with those packets of blood that he bought for Bella when she was pregnant?

Anyway, doesn't that defeat the purpose of having the shapeshifters in Forks?

And the murder of human beings is still MURDER.

It bugs me for other reasons, because like the one pick said, "A vampire's gotta do what a vampire's gotta do."

I only feel sorry for someone if I actually know them, at least their name or their age, then I would show sympathy.

I don't like how it was thrown away. When Seattle was invaded by newbrons (stupid failures didn't kill anybody *pouts*) it made headlines everywhere, and now, the vampires had to hunt even in Forks. Do the Cullens not read the newspapers? Would Charlie not have brought it up on his visits? Hel-lo-o?

The disregard of human life is one of the minor things that makes me absolutely disgusted with Edward and the Cullens. Sure, they don't hunt humans, but that doesn't make them saints. Not when they stand aside when OTHER vampires, some of them who are their allies, hunt humans. I know they're too few, but if you want to convince me they're as good and saintly as Meyer says they are, they should get their butt on the line and sacrifice themselves for their cause.

They can't tell the vampires to change their diet for them.
They did ask them to not hunt in Forks, and the did offer to take the other vampires hunting with them. They were asking favors from the other vampires, they couldn"t expect to go around telling them how to live.
