Critical Analysis of Twilight Pergunta
Please help me, I dont know what to think. I feel like the world is being overrun por Twilighters. They broke Harry Potter 6's box office record last night. Midnight only obviously. But if these freaks cont. do you think they will get to 5 Billion too?

To be honest, I think you all just need to calm down, take a deep breath and tell yourselves this: in the grand, eternal scheme of things...it REALLY DOESN'T MATTER. (Read that last part twice, please.) ^__^ Okay. So they broke Harry Potter's record. So what? Is it sad and annoying? To some of us, yes...and yeah, I'd probably be upset too if my favorito movie had been beaten in the box office por one I hated. HOWEVER, it's not going to trigger the Apocalypse. The sun will still rise and set every twenty-four hours and the world will go on as it always has. THIS TOO SHALL PASS. We need to just chill and realize that underneath all the hype, both HP and Twilight are just fictional, entertaining books. Nothing more, nothing less. What people choose to read, watch and amor is entirely up to them and we shouldn't bash them for it, no matter HOW much they may get on our nerves. So I suggest you go console yourself por obsessing over Harry Potter to your heart's content, let our lovely, sane Twilighters enjoy their moment of glory and leave the fangirls to their fangirling. Foaming at the mouth won't do any good for EITHER side. =P

Okay. I amor Spiderman. Spiderman held #1 for the longest time.. I think since the first one came out. Yet, the Dark Knight beat it in sales...possibly and partially fueled por Heath Ledger and it being his last performance, but that's just my opinion. I am a HUGE Spiderman fan. I throw a little tantrum, sigh in defeat, and I'm over it. And, I have to say, I'm a little offended that you would call us Twilight fãs freaks. haha I mean, maybe some of us are, but when you say it in the context you did, it's like you're "classifying" all twilight fãs as that. You don't even know us. Lol. Some of us are actually sane, intellectual, normal fans. It's not the end of the world. So, don't go around calling people freaks. It's not too nice :)

The rules of this spot cearly states that bashing of Twilight fãs is not allowed. So do NOT call us freaks. This is not a hater spot, because if it was then I would denunciar it straight away because that is not what fanpop is about. Have a little respect.

Well maybe it would help if you realized that not all of us are "freaks" =/ I for one am a mature, sane, twenty ano old female. Sure, i get a little thrill out of certain scenes in the movie, but no geral, global I'm just a calm fã who enjoys this series. Just as there are overly fanatical HP fans, there are overly fanatical Twilight fans. And just as there are perfectly rational HP fans, there are perfectly rational Twilight fãs =] Maybe I'm being unrealistic, but i really wish we could all just chill with all the hate.

See, to be honest, I think that the Twilight hype will die out in a couple of years when the filmes are finished. But the Harry Potter hype cannot be killed because it is immortal- the franchise is getting bigger and bigger every year. So no need to worry, the craziness will eventually disappear. :)

Are u sure it beat harry potter opening week? I know at my movie theater when the sixth harry potter came out there was a huge line it was even in the paper it said it beat The Dark Knight waiting line. I hear people in my grade or school have already saw it twice and this is exactly why the box office is so big not because its hugely popular, but because the twi hards go to it like three to five times and that adds up.

What I would do in your situation is to relax, take a deep breath, and just not worry about this. I honestly think the Twilight-craze is calming down a little bit, the fãs on the Twilight series fanclub seem to be less obsessed except for those who contribute a lot daily. Or was what I said the most ridiculous thing anyone here can read? X) I didn't see a lot of obsession with Twilight recently, so I don't know how it is now....
