why do people insist of pairing every single recurring cast member up with another??

Some people like to pair people up, or "ship" characters together, I guess it's what some people like to do a lot and what some people like to do occasionally. I can't say most people do it, though - I'm not sure but I don't think so. I guess it's natural to a certain extent - for me it's fun to think about for a segundo but I don't really want characters to get together on CM - to me it's just not that kind of show.

I agree, i don't like it. Its annoying.

But I really do think that Hotch & Emily should pair up because those two are great together.

I really don't know and I think it's both boring and utterly silly!
It's not only the shipping, it's thef act that people start to think what they wish is real: you see people on fórum saying "OMG Hotch look at Prentiss in such a way!!!!" and when you watch the same episode, Hotch is in fact looking at Prentiss the way he looks at morgan (or other team members)!
I think that CM is fine as it is. I don't want it to become like some series that were good in the first episodes but focused so miuch on the characters romance between one another that it became silly and uninteresting.
There are enough "romantic" series, we don't need any romance in CM. Especially not between tje team members.

Some people (like me) think that it would be cute to see a romantic relationship because it makes the show fun. I am a Strossi (Rossi & Strauss) shipper because it would be fun for Rossi and Strauss to have a 'dirty little secret' or even a public relationship. I prefer to pair characters that you know less about. I think that most people pari characters because it gives you a bond with the pair, like you see the show in a different way. I can see Hotch/Prentiss, Rossi/Strauss, Morgan/Garcia, but I really think Reid is like the little kid on the show and isn't ready for a relationship. Ashley Seaver can go die in a hole for replacing JJ, but to each their own. I hope this sort-of respostas your Q.

well i dont really know,but i have like morgan and Garcia since the begining,and hotch and emily since season 3,so i dont really know why,i guess i think they looks good together,but i have never ship reid with someone,but i hope he get someone one day,i dont like him and Ashley together,but like them both. i think Garcia is cute wit reid too.
