"So....let me get this straight. You said you were attacked por a 6'5" guy in a vampire costume?" the doctor asked while examining Kuki's chart.
She sniffled and nodded.
"Why do I always get stuck with the weirdos?" she mumbled under her breath.
"I'm not kidding!" Kuki snapped.
"Calm down, girl..." Abby said, attempting to soothe her friend.
Kuki sighed.
"Sorry. It must be this lack of sleep."
"<yawn> I hear that! Who in their right mind is perky at 3 AM?"
Just then, the door burst open. Kiki, Kacey, Megan and the youngest operative (you know who...) poured in, all happy. Abby did a facepalm.
"Hi, Kuki! I got you a 'Speedy Recovery' arco iris, arco-íris Monkey at the gift shop!" she chirped.
"Aw....thanks!" Kuki used her free hand to grab it.
Val looked down at Kuki's hand.
"What happened?" she asked, a bit worried.
Megan and the other exchanged concerned looks.
"Well....," she started, "Her and your daddy got into a bit of a scuffle and-"
"That wanker (LOL, Kacey's favorito British word...) bit me!!!" she howled.
The little girl gasped.
"You're going to turn into a vampire!!" she cried.
"Impossible," Kiki interjected, "The only way she could turn into a vampire is if she was bitten por a blood-sucking vamp. Valentina's father is a spank-happy vamp. Their methods of assimilation are entirely different."
Everyone gave her a weird look.
".....What? I'm a junior parapsychologist majoring in the studies of vampires. If Kuki was bitten por a zombie, Megan would be going off right now."
The doctor finished wrapping the bandage.
"All right! Now, everything you need to know when it comes to taking care of this. Lollipop?"
Kuki dug around and found her favorito flavor.
"C'mon. Let's go and at least try to get some sleep." Kacey yawned.

The seguinte morning...rather, afternoon, everyone was in the kitchen, watching TV and eating arco iris, arco-íris Munchies.
Kacey looked around.
"Anyone seen Kuki?" she asked.
The majority of the group shook their heads.
"I think she's still asleep." Maddy said.
"....Wally, go check on her." Kacey ordered.
"Why me ?" he whined.
"I have middle school power." she answered, waving her hands around.
He rolled his eyes and began walking. He knocked on her door.
"Kuki? Wake up...." he said, softly.
Nothing. He knocked a bit harder.
"Kuki! Come on!" he said, a bit louder.
Still nothing. He pounded on the door.
" DARN IT! GET YOUR BUTT OUT OF cama BEFORE I -"
The door swung open. Kuki looked pretty mad.
" WHAT?! " she snarled.
Wally jumped back. Kuki was a bit pale, her hand was a bit red, and she had started to develop a widow's peak.
"Um.....Kacey wanted me to get you up."
Her face loosened up a bit.
"......Oh. Sorry. I'll be out in a minute."
She shut the door as quietly as possible.
Wally was still shaking a bit as he walked down to the kitchen.

Since it was such a nice day, Kacey had decided that everyone should go to the park for some fresh air and a chance to burn off some of that sugar from their breakfast.
Kuki slowly walked out. Wally ran past her and tagged her.
"Race ya!!" he teased.
She giggled and started running.
"Can't catch me!" Wally teased.
Kuki started running faster. Then she started to sprint. Then she started to...what's faster than a sprint? Is there a word for that? Well, Whatever it is, she started to do that. When she reached Wally, she gave him a big shove. Big enough that he fell on his behind.
"Now you're it!" she taunted.
"HOLY-!"
He turned to Hoagie, David, and Christian.
"Dude, did you see that?!"
"See what?" David asked.
"Kuki!"
"...No. She's running way too fast." Christian said.
"But....but...she doesn't normally run THAT fast!"
"....And how would you know this?" Hoagie teased. All of the guys started giggling.
Wally blushed.
"Um.....hey, Kuki! Wait up!"

"Kacey! Give me a push!" Minerva demanded.
"Do it yourself!" Kacey shot back.
".....Kiki! Give me a push!"
"Sorry....I'm helping Val cruz the monkey bars!"
Minerva scowled. She didn't like doing things for herself. She looked around for someone to push her. And who should be the seguinte closest person, but Kuki.
"KUKI! Can you give me a push?" she asked.
"Sure!". She got up from picking flores and started to push.
"Higher!" Minerva called.
Kuki pushed harder.
"Higher!!"
She pushed even harder.
"God, you push like a sissy! I said HIGHER!!"
Kuki snarled and gave her a huge shove. Minerva did indeed go higher....but flew off the balanço and landed in the grama about 10 feet away.
"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!" she bawled.
Kuki stood there with her jaw dropped. She ran over to help the fallen girl.
" Don't touch me, you jerk! " she howled.
Kuki stepped back....then started to bawl herself.
".....Maybe we should just go home...." Abby suggested.
Kiki picked up Minerva and everyone started walking home. Wally stayed near the back with Kuki, trying to comfort her.
Something was up. Something bad.
