cinderela Pergunta

Why did Cinderella's stepmother treat her so badly?

What could be the explication for Tremaine's behaivor?
Is she the perfect copy of her parents, like their reflection in the mirror? Maybe she was traumatizated por some events.
At the beginning of the movie, we saw Cinderella's father along with his daughter without anastasia and Drizella.
Could this be the answer? Was mrs / lady Tremaine jealous on the attention received por Cinderella? Or she couldn't amor her because they were related just por "a paper"?

What is your opinion?

I would say it's mainly because cinderela isn't related to her, so she probably didn't even bother much.

It may be a mixture of both, actually. She probably didn't care for her since they weren't related and also she was jealous of the amor his husband had for her step - daughter. She knew she had an special place in his coração and she just couldn't urso that it was not her.

She saw cinderela as a danger to her plans of marrying Drizella and anastasia to well-off husbands. After all, cinderela is mais graceful, charming and conventionally attractive than her stepsisters. I also see her as a haughty woman who thinks its her right to belittle those whom she sees as being beneath her.

Besides that, she was bankrupt and needed cinderela do to the work around the house and wait on her hand and foot.
