It was eight o’ clock in the evening and Paige was getting ready to have jantar with Richard. She looked really pretty. “Wow, you look amazing”, Chris said. Paige blinked her eyes to make the words sink in. “Thanks, I guess”
“Although I don’t get why you’d go to so much trouble for a guy who doesn’t even care enough for you to give up his powers”, Chris continued.
