The first Camp Rock says that the members of Connect Three are best friends who met at Camp Rock (Jason: "Yeah, man. This is where Connect Three . . . connected.") while the segundo one mentions that they are brothers.

Is it just me, or did anyone else realize this?

yeah, but thats just it. Nick also says (to Shane), "You get to see your Uncle Brown". I dont think he would've said "your Uncle Brown" if they were brothers, he probably would've said "You get to see Uncle Brown" instead.
