AU only. One where Bangel never happened (or only happened after Willow/Angel) because I can't see Willow dating her friend's ex or a guy she knew her friend was into. And obviously the pairing would have to happen before they made Willow become gay.

Well I don't think Willow was ever fully gay, she was Bi in my opinion.

^I see it the same way, but with the way they played it, pairing her with a man afterwards would be retconning.

I see your point. but I always thought that when they went with Willow turning gay and keeping her that way till the end was in bad taste because she has loved men before and so pairing Willow with a man again I thought would show that Willow wasnt bias, that she loved who she loved for who they were and not the gender, like she loved Oz for who he was and Tara for who she was, So pairing her with a man again in my opinion would in a way bring it full circle for her character showing that She loves man and women, she just loves people and I think that would make her much more likable, and hey if any man could make a lesbian fall in love with him it'd be Angel dont you think.

With the whole fuss they had about being allowed to show Willow and Tara acting like a couple, and the fact that she was the first main character to ever be gay, I just think people would see pairing her with another man as a step backwards. If she'd said she was bi at the time, or even if she just hadn't claimed that she wasn't attracted to men, it'd be a different question.

Probably but still fact is She has been attracted to men and women and attraction to men and women =Bisexual, and for what ever reason that people don't realize that or believe it is just dumb.

True enough. I wonder if the reason they described her as gay not bi was that being bi wasn't as well recognised/accepted at the time. I'm not sure.

Even if they did have her as bi, choosing to make her final partner be male would be seen by some as a step back, though. Making one of the characters gay was meant as a deliberate progressive move.

Well I am not saying she should end up with a male i'm just saying that eliminating her attraction to men all together was kind of dumb considering her relationship with Oz, Joss can and should put her with a woman, i am and always have been all for that.

No way. I like the kind of friendship Willow and Angel had. And it was hilarious when she was trying to make Buffy mad and said she had a sleazy affair with Angel hahaha
